Thank you for your informative short video. My trigger thumb seemed to come out of nowhere. I hope to take a nonsurgical approach. Great tips!

Many thanks for your superb trigger thumb exercise advice. After daily taping and rest of my trigger thumb for 3 months and now viewing your exercise advice today, it is probably healed, so no more taping! I will now follow your exercise advice everyday. 😊

Hi, thank you for this advice, I've been following your tips for the last week and have been wearing an oval-8. I'm finding that it feels worse and clicks wayyyyyy more once I take the brace off, is that ok? Should I continue to wear the brace during the day with periods of taking it off and doing the exercises you recommend? Thank you for your help.

You should not test it after the brace comes off - you should relax the hand and use the other hand to stretch it out! So it shouldn’t be clicking more.

I can’t let my tendon rest that easily because I’m a dishwasher

It is very difficult to allow rest. It doesn’t mean you can’t use your hand or arm, sometimes you need to find some ways to modify the way you do the task. For example, instead of holding the dish being washed it can be placed at the bottom of the sink, wash one side, then flip and wash the other side, and then rinse by holding with both hands

Not sure what the logic is behind this comment…it’s a video with the purpose of giving solutions for managing trigger finger, and it’s approx 5 mins long…
