Im pretty sure we are in some of the same Mazda protege Facebook groups😂. Keep up the work man. The protege platform needs more drivers willing to mod them. Get a vacuum block for your boost gauge and blow off valve. They are super easy to hook up and you can get rid of a lot of your T fittings

Just a heads up the T fitting for the BOV, you called the thing it was originally connected to a brake booster. It’s actually the unit for the cruise control. I simply deleted it since I never use it. Easiest option is to remove the plug and cut the line near the fire wall instead of pulling the dash out to get the wire disconnect. If you un plug it you won’t get any dash lights or throw a code.

Some have drums in the back , it’s different types per sub model but I can’t find what spec the MSP has for front rotors

​​​​@@Stunmanmike6705I had this info saved from forums for my build, hope it helps. Note this only applies to 5 lug setups, 4 lugs, from my understanding, use drum rears across the board. I have no data saved for 4 lugs. Rotor Size: Front/Rear 258mm/261mm (P5) 274mm/280mm (MSP) MSP has the same front rotors as a 626 V6 & Mazda6 (rears also for mazda6). Piston Bore: Front/Rear ***mm/30.1mm (P5) ***mm/34.93mm (MSP) Both calipers have same piston bore size in front, MSP has larger pads. MSP has 16.046% larger pistons in rear. Brake Pad Size: Front/Rear 4800mm2/2700mm2 (P5) 5300mm2/3200mm2 (MSP) MSP has 500mm or 10.416% larger pad surface area in front & rear. Pad thickness for both brakes is 10mm/8mm front & rear. MSP has the same front pads as a 626 V6 Basically if you need the MSP brake parts, order 626 parts.

sick mp5 bro! i need to get new wheels for my mp5 and i was wondering what are the size/dimensions for your wheels and tires? width, diameter, offset,.. also do your tires rub at all?

I do have a bit of rubbing up front but that’s bc it’s pretty low and i have a 15mm spacer upfront. I have 17x7.5 +38 5x114.3. I’d personally say go with 17x8.5 +35. they’d fit a lot better.

@ So there’s 2 coolant lines that go to your throttle body, just take those off the TB get a little hose to 8an line and route those two to the turbo.
