Hi Rosemarie, I agree that you have to be discerning when it comes to sharing your heart w/ someone, you don't want to open up to any guy if he has not invested himself in you or if he is not willing to value you as a woman. Having said this, the most effective way to get a man to connect with your heart is to show yourself fully. My suggestion if you're dating guys that you're meeting online is to only spend time with those that you feel are congruent, respectful and value your time and uniqueness. And I would perhaps ask you to challenge your own beliefs that guys have a "buffet" since women have the same opportunities as men online, it is an equal playing field. Huge Hug! -Bern

That's what I"ve been doing showing him who I really am; showing him how much I love him, cares and supports him but still I get nothing from him, I know that it should not be thinking of what I could get but what I could give, I have so much love give, so much love to give in fact I'm willing to give my all for our relationship but it seems that I'm the only one working for it. It's not enough for me that he tells me he loves me but I feel it's just words coming out from him. He always says that he's just busy with work, but it's not a valid excuse, right? He should at least make some time for me so I won't feel neglected.

Madz S Hello Dear, Sharing yourself fully is part of the equation, sharing yourself with a guy who is worthy of you sharing yourself fully is the other. Work is not a valid excuse to not show caring, if someone is busy he can still figure out creative ways to make you feel special. A relationship needs two human beings for it two work. Loving someone unconditionally IS NOT the same thing as staying with someone unconditionally. I suggest having a heart to heart with your man to let him know that you love him AND that this is not working for you at the moment explaining ways he can act and be that will help you feel more appreciated. Ultimately worthy men want to be with a woman who values herself. Hope this helps, xo -Bern

I'm not exactly clear about how much MORE I would need to do & how "uncomfortable" I need to be, in order to find love??? I definitely know I have put myself in the position of being "vulnerable" & taking a chance to let a man know that I would like to get to know him better, but unfortunately, I've still ended up disappointed, because I would like to eventually be in a relationship.... I keep on TRYING to stay "positive" & "hopeful" about finding love, but I'm single & in my early 50's now, and the disappointments have become harder to take & "bounce back" from! 😞😞😞
