Great Stuff. I got lost on the Navi Path. You have to Press the actual image and it will say UNLOACKED. Boom it worked. Great Stuff!

have a question for you, when I tried to install the navigation app the first time sync said that it could not install copy righted material through the USB port. It seemed to install the app anyways. It did not appear in the system information. Tried a second time still with no luck. I am trying the app for sync 3.08. am i missing something? I have made all the other updates and module changes. Do you have an idea of what i need to do? thank you

Hey Ried just a few questions. I just got a 2014 Ford escape that was bought with Navigation already and software update 4.32. So first off will the 3.08 or 3.10 work if I'm in Canada? Second if it already has Navigation do I still have to do the ELM connector part? And last it has Navigation so do I still have to install the NaviPatch? Sorry I'm new to this :/ Thx for your time!

I love the Ford Sync stuff, it's awesome you can mess with them like you have. For an updated map dvd in my Denali it costs $180!!! How is that not free? I bought a $14 bootleg version and all the sudden it quit reading the disc. Time to burn a new disc i guess.

What is the last version of sync 2 available for a 2015 mkz hybrid? How could I look that up myself? I just put a B11 update into my vehicle and it didn't seem to have to take any time to install anything. Should it take a while to update the maps to b11? The car system settings says it is b11, but its odd that it didn't seem to have to load anything.

Hi! I downloaded the update and installed it successfully to 3.08. My navigation says 4.66. I have a A4 card in my 2011 explorer. Even with the install when I open my navigation I still have a x over my GPS and it thinks I'm in another city. What else do I need to do?

Hi, I just bought a 2016 with 3.08 Nav A10 Took card out to look at it. Put it back in, clicked it and it now says No SD card. Tried with engine on and off. Tried taking it out and in aswell. Nav was working until I took card out. Please help

Hi Reid. I’m on version 3.10. Your link to the download doesn’t work anymore, so I got one from forscan. I then tried to use the nav patch and set the background and tapped it and got the “Navi unlocked!!!” statement. I then master reset my car and I did not see the navigation information in my system information. I went ahead and did your nav app download on my usb from your previous video just to be safe and downloaded that to my car and it updated that. I then did the nav patch png background again, and master reset after that. That did not do anything either. Do you have any advice? I’ve been stuck on this a few days and can’t get it to work. Thank you!!

I did the Navi app and it said unlocked, I then installed navapp 3.08 bc that is my version. I performed master resets after each step, however my settings still do not show navigation version so I'm not sure if anything worked. Did that only show after updating with forscan? Also am I okay using a regular default image after unlocking with Navi?

This can be done with out the OBDII.. do everything like in the video.. dl the 3.08 or 3.10 then load the patch open and hit unlock then do a master reset... worked for me

I have a Ford Fusion 2013/14 with sync 2 and Ford of Brazil, where the updates are done online by a USB stick, checking the chassis of the vehicle, but they say my car has no sync 2 updates. Navigation works perfectly But the software itself, Ford says I have the latest version installed. Do you know if Ford in USA has already released any 2013/14 Fusion ecoboost titanium upgrades? I mean Sync 2, not the gps card. Thanks for your help!

If you already have navigation you will only need an updated maps card. You may need to update sync version 3.10 as well.

Hi. I just bought a 2013 F-150 Platinum with 8 inch touch screen. The update worked grade to upgrade to 3.08. I tried to repeat the process for the navigation app. It appeared to freeze on 1 of 2. Does this install take a while? I was worried and pulled the stick. Should I expect this to take similar or as long as the sync update? Is there a chance the file is corrupt? I know it has been some years. Thank you

I did the process, have the small compass, Insert Nav SD card in the corner, did the navipatch and I even have the nav option in the menu, but my software shows no license and no navigation under the system info screen, still says 4.32. Every time I try to put the usb in, I get an error that says "one or more of the files you are trying to install did not install successfully". I know that i unzipped and transferred everything to to USB the correct way, im not sure what Needs to be done to fix the issue.

Hi Reid. First of all, nice material... thanks a lot! I have a 2013 Fusion with very old version 3.2.2. When i put the VID on Ford website, it says that there are no updates available for my system. Im interested on updating to the latest (3.10) to benefit from performance improvements and bug fixes, and i will NOT use the navigation at all. Can i simply download the 3.10 files, put on USB flash drive and update? Im not sure if my hardware version is compatible and if the standard functions will work without updating the Nav App and maps version of SD card. Thanks!

Ok, i just did the update to 3.10 (downloaded the files from "Sync 2 3.10 Update" item on the description, extracted to an USB drive FAT32, plugged in and followed the standard instructions). After 20 min the update was finished and the system is working perfecly! Could not be more simple (actually, it would be more simple if i could download the files direcly from FORD website instead of searching on the web, but they say there is no update for my car!) For curiosity, i tried the navigation and it worked perfecly (i didnt make any other step like forscan and navipatch). I guess the navigation was already licensed for my car (might be purchased). My maps are C2 by the way. Hope this info can be useful for other users.

Felipe Zanon hey when you downloaded 3.10 from description , how many files it had ? 2 or 3? Because 3.08 has 3 files inside And 3.10 has 2 files !! Is that a problem ?!

@@muadabulohom8271 Hello. I dont understand the reason of your doubt... Maybe you are wondering if you can go directly to 3.10 or not... Honestly, i had the same doubt but could not find the exact answer on the web. Then i decided to take the risk and try updating directly to 3.10. In my case, it worked. But i cant guarantee that it will work for you, because in my case i already have the navigation licensed but it seems a lot of people are looking for this tutorial to enable the navigation when they dont have it purchased. So, good luck. Regarding the files, I dont have the original .zip that i downloaded from the description, but i checked the USB drive that i used and the root contains one "autoinstall" file and one folder called "SyncMyRide" with 29 files...
