Hi, went to your autel us robotics to download file for Autel evo 2 V3 with rc controller, but after download is not file, Can you guys send me the download for Autel evo 2 V3 with rc controller update firmware V2.7.25 also link firmware update for batteries? Like to do it manually on SD card. When try to open drone is not detecting that need. New firmware. Please help asap today. Thanks 🙏

Maybe a dumb question, but how do I go through and update the firmware on all of my Evo II batteries?

I figured it out. Just put them in one at a time and the controller will say you need a firmware update for each battery. Then it does the update.

In this video it clearly shows the white Controller to Phone cable, is connected to the RIGHT hand side port, the LARGER of the two ports on the Controller. In all other videos I have watched it is using the LEFT hand side, smaller port. What am I missing ?? Question... when I open my Mobile phone as shown I don't get an 'update' message?? Does this mean I am up to date ?? I bought the drone just 2 days ago 10th March 2021.

Look I know this video is irrelevant for me but I have the autel Evo ( original) I'm seeing videos in the last couple days the end of March where people are getting updates on their app. Now my question is why am I not seeing an update on my app for a update on the autel EVO? Do they Evo 2 and the Evo 2 Pro use the same firmware? At their site I just find one download package.

It is the same, no difference between these drones (Autel EVO II), apart from the two gimbal-cameras which are interchangeable. The aircraft is the same and the firmware too.

The correct names of these 2 drones are Autel EVO II Pro (or Autel EVO II 6K) and Autel EVO II 8K.

The Over-the-Air method can be the cause of flakey control problems even if it reports to be successful. The .bin download can be used for a reinstall and is the first thing to do if you've upgraded OTA and are now experiencing problems. OTA upgrades are so commonly the source of any number of a variety of issues, it's a wonder Autel has an OTA prompt, still

Interesting how they forgot to mention how to upgrade the battery firmware

Nah... The firmware upgrade of the batteries is done by redoing the entire procedure, inserting each battery you want to update into the drone. One battery at a time. Do you have 10 batteries? Well, you have to upgrade 10 times, each time with a different battery. He did not forget to mention this, he explained it in an unclear way for novices.

Ah... and you didn't regret it? Well, everyone makes his choices. I kept the first, second and third purchased more than a year ago, and few days ago, in October, bought two more EVO II 6K, second hand, as new. So there are five 🖐 in my Autel fleet. Many more of DJI, however, a lot more.

If AR published a detailed, complete user's manual for their EVO II Pro system then all these questions people have would for the most part go away. AR has VERY POOR DOCUMENTATION for their product. They just recently put together a course in the AR Training Center. Why so far after the fact of releasing the Aircraft/SE Controller. This information, if published in a good and complete user manual, to begin with, (at the time that they released the EVO II Product for sale) could have saved AR time, money, and effort on their part. For some reason, AR does not get the concept of putting the horse in front of the cart. AR PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE WRITE A DETAILED, ACCURATE, AND COMPLETE USER MANUAL. (Please don't tell me the one you have is what people should use- it is terrible!)

hope you’ve gotten yours by now. i hadn’t planned on a drone purchase but decided to get one last month but didn’t know anything about them. i read as much as i could and compared features. placed an order on 6/13/20 and it was in my hands on 6/19/20 which was an unexpected surprise. that is what brought me here, ie to learn how to ensure i had the latest firmware. first flight imminent now :)
