In my case I'm talking of a msi mpg as 12th with a i7 12700f which has a b660 modified for the 750 w power supply. Based on your expecirence do you think that an i9 processor (for example a i9 14900f) does fit well for this computer? What about problems in terms of temperature? If you're using the same SSDs you can just move them to the new system. No problems :) Windows should still load, though obviously you might need motherboard firmware/software updates, but otherwise everything will be there. Alas that's a quite old CPU now and several generations behind in terms of motherboard socket, so you'll have to swap the entire thing really. Motherboard, CPU and ram. We're now on 14th gen Intel CPUs. So that would be quite an upgrade

@therealbukhari if you can I'd get the 14700k unless you find some deal for the 13700k there's really only a minimal difference between the two but really if you're not getting any bottlenecks I wouldn't even upgrade I had that cpu was very easy to overclock and stay stable but I got lucky and got a 4090 at msrp so had to upgrade was getting 99% bottleneck in a lot of games especially warzone
