Invaluable. Picked up some niggles from rugby and this has helped tremendously. The NHS here in Scotland sure could learn a bunch from you. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I would also carefully massage the biceps tendon, as it also often contributes to shoulder pain...

Another awesome tutorial, Boys. Question: would the gun replace a foam roller or balls for myofascial release? Cause that's a heck of a lot easier than trying to roll out that area. Asking for a client 😉

Good question ⁉️

That’s their intended purpose, but obviously a foam roller will use more pressure
@johnkrazzki64922 жыл бұрын
@@diegogolfhotel Agreed, you can put much more pressure (an hold it) on the affected muscles with a ball. The release then comes from relaxing and easing into the pain. You can't do this with a massage gun. But they are helpful anyways, it's just a different method. For me the massage gun compliments the foam roller/ball. I can for example start with the gun to loosen and warm everything up and then use the ball with more ease than without.

WOW!!! I've been watching you guys for a while, and video cuts to the chase for my purposes. A year ago I fractured my right proximal humorous in six places. I now trying to deal with a significant impingement and having a lot of difficulties and discomfort. I have a massage gun, but no assistance in using it, how do I make the best use of it on my own? And, what intensity settings do I set it on? I'm now subscribed and following you two - THANK You! Jim

Depending on what type of sofa or couch you might have, you might be able to jam the massage gun between 2 cushions to hold it in place. The upper back cushions on my couch are just firm enough that I can jam the massager in there and then sit upright and lean back and forth to do my back.
