It would be good to be able for the presenter to change tabs or apps as they go. Turning off annotations just to move to the next ppt slide is a pain.

Is there not a way I can annotate while the presenter is sharing their screen and they're still able to control it? It'd be super helpful when training someone remotely on software, to be able to use the laser while I guide them through, pointing out what I'm talking about or ask a question on a particular area. Maybe have a toggle hotkey to turn the laser on/off for the viewers. While given permission by the presenter of course. I've checked all over. Looked at documentation and videos and haven't found anything close to being able to do this. It seems like it just takes a screenshot of the presenter's screen and locks everyone into annotating. It's silly since zoom allows you to do this already. Never have I been in a meeting where we weren't shifting through multiple images on the fly or even in a 3D scene where the presenter would move around. It's a pain to use the annotation mode as it is now, since it like hicups in and out of that mode with a brief delay.

+1! Definitely important to do this as well! I was so happy seeing that annotations are available in Teams as well but as soon as I noticed that (as soon as I turn on annotations) I AM STUCK on the screen where I have started the annotations. As soon as I saw this, I again considered buying a Zoom License instead (which causes extra costs) only for such a simple but very important feature! Seriously!?!? ZOOM HAS THIS FEATURE ALREADY FOR YEARS!!!!! So please integrate this functionality as well!

Really missed having this feature that was available on our previous video conferencing platform. But the ability for everyone to annotate at the same time is worth the wait!

Is there any way to allow the annotation to be anonymous?

The problem I have just realized is that, when I annotation on an object, for example, by circling it with my pen, the others see the circle at a higher position than the object. This caused the annotation misleading and caused confusion -- till we shared screenshots and figured out what happened.

How to turn off anotate during meetings
@mrkirchy46029 ай бұрын
Enhancing this feature would be the last item needed to wean me off of zoom. 1) the feature should be responsive. the load time is unacceptable. 2) we should be able to set global meeting preferences in our settings. per meeting management isn't efficient. 3) presenters can't tell how to turn it on while presenting. the option should be visible all the time. especially for ad hoc calls between peers. 4) a request annotate with large visual accept or deny to the presenter; accept for requester or for all. 5) better whiteboard
