thanks for calming my frustration. I can see the advantage of the fastening, it prevents bending your strap at the same hole day in, day out until it begins to break

Thanks for demystifying this type of clasp! Much appreciated! My new Citizen NK0000-10A is similar but with some push buttons. I have a 7.5” wrist with big hands. I had to get it on over my hand and on to my wrist with the pin in place on the strap and the rest undone, then do up the 2 sections. I’m on the last hole (phew), but as the leather strap breaks in, I should be able to use at least the second last hole. Thanks again.

Thank you for this. I searched a dozen videos without finding one that explained the only thing everyone needed, how to undo the clasp/is it just me or is it too tight. So many are useless, no crap everyone knows how to loop it through like a belt...

the problem with Tissot Wtahc clasp is that the Rivet breaks off easily if you apply the amount of pressure that the guy is applying on the watch

OK, this video does a good job showing why I went with the push button release style clasp. To me, grabbing and pulling on the leather strap to release the clasp just adds to the wear on the strap, maybe not as much as a buckle style, but still. All I have to do to remove my watch is to push the release buttons and the clasp pops open and off it comes. But, that is my opinion and experience and I just wanted to pass that on.
