Clicking on the time stamp worked easy peasy. My group is about helping people new to TikTok, how to create content, what buttons to push, how not to get sucked down the rabbit hole of vanity metrics, etc.

Be aware that groups on Facebook have *different* feature sets. No I am not talking about the feature packs. I am saying that some groups may and some may not have a specific feature. It's not very clear how this happens -- seems to have something to do with date of creation, but that is not reliable either... Facebook is currently in a state more appropriate for internal development than release so who knows...

Fantastic video! Now that I have some Guides set up in my group how do I view them on my phone? It's easy to see them on my laptop, as the word "Guides" sits between "Discussion" and "Featured". However, on my phone, I seem to have to select the three horizontal lines at the top right of the page to find the Guides section. Is there a way to move this so that when people are on their phone, they can see the word "Guides" alongside "Reels", "Chats", "Featured", etc?

Hi there! This video definitely helped me with getting a Guide up and going for a group that I am an Admin for..Thank you! Question though...I created 5 posts to go underneath my first Guide and then followed the steps and selected the option to 'Remove from Group' while keeping the post in the Guide for 3 of the posts. They were removed from both locations, so now I have to recreate them. (Which is fine...not blaming anyone!) Is that an option that Facebook has now taken away since the date of when your video was posted? It wouldn't surprise me if it is, but just want to make sure for future reference. The bulk of what I am creating I would like to "reveal" to the group when it is fully ready...not necessarily have discussions or reactions or questions to each individual post. TIA!!

I have a group that I am head admin. It is a group for our local community to be able to post about various things that are happening such as various events in and around our local community. I'm trying to figure out if I can use this feature to make my group even better and make it easier for the members to find what they are looking for. It would be nice if Facebook could add an automatic feature so when you make a guide for various businesses because my group has a lot of businesses that share things like specials they may be having in their shop for example so their posts automatically can get added to that guide so it makes it easier if someone has a favorite business they like to follow.

Your best bet for this would be to use Facebook Group Topics. I don't have a tutorial on this, but basically you can add hashtags to posts about certain things, and they can all be organized under each topic.

Will head over to my MacBook and check it instead. But I have a question: how do I check what my FB group really looks like as a new member? Annoying that I only see the admin interface. I'm looking to create a FB page for my neighborhood. The page will be a place where people in the neighborhood can go to connect with people with similar interests, and throw up posts announcing they are going to get together... say people who like to garden, or road bike, or hike etc. I'd like this FB page to have sub groups with in it for each interest group. Is that possible? I tried using guides but that doesn't seem to work.. it seems only the group admin can post on a guide, members of the group can comment in a guide but that's it. I literally just discovered this feature and I have a question or two. I'm an admin of a group. Can moderators create guides and add posts to guides? Can Members create guides and can they add their own posts to a guide? I'm hoping only Admins and Moderators could, otherwise I have a feeling that there would be a bit of disorganization. If Members can create guides and add posts to guides, if the group is set up such that posts must be approved, would it allow for adding a guide or adding posts to a guide to be approved as well? Also, who marks the posts as solved? The Admins/moderators only? The post authors? Can one member mark another member's posts as solved? I wouldn't like that if that were the case.

Guides are only for Admins (and maybe Moderators, I haven't checked), but not members. Each member marks the items in the guide as Done/Solved so they can see what they've done and what they haven't.

I have 46 guides so I really like the idea of using the URL to go directly to a guide. However, it doesn't always work - it NEVER works on iPads. It always sends the person to Guide 1. On iPhones, on some it takes them to Guide 1, on others it takes them to the top of the group. The only time it works consistently is when the person is in Wiindows 10 - that I know of. Insight? The post in the guide is basically a link back to the original post, so it will still come up in the feed in its normal place. Not sure about the second question - but a post is usually created when you update your cover photo, so try clicking on that and see if it would let you add it!

There wasn't previously, but it sounds like Facebook is now only letting us CREATE the posts directly in the Guide. It will likely still show up in the feed sometimes though.

Everybody keeps skimping around the topic of how to like, post, or comment on other business pages using your business page. They keep bouncing back to the old page. The new page do not allow for this to happen which doesn't make sense other than they are trying to force you to take ads.

To engage with Pages as your Page, you should be able to go to this URL: facebook.com/fiveminutesocialmedia/news_feed But replace 'fiveminutesocialmedia' with whatever your Facebook Business Page username is. Then you can browse a feed of Pages you follow.

It will bring up suggested pages and when you click on any one of them to join or post, it automatically reverts to your personal page. I work from my desktop, not my phone. Then another crazy that it does is that when you join a group and you get the message that you have been accepted, it does not allow for you to post anything.

They've moved it to the Members page. Go to the page that lists your members, and you should see the option to create a post that tags anyone who joined in the last 7 days.
