How to use the Cricut Foil Transfer Kit

I have spent loads of time using the Cricut Foil Transfer Kit and I've learned a thing or two about how to get the best results! Here I'm sharing all my secrets with you so you can too!

Great video! Thanks so much! I am looking for an answer to an issue I am having with my foiling on my Cricut Maker 3. I load 65 lb smooth paper stock, the settings are for foil bold, I load the bold foil tool in, it does its thing, but then when I take off the foil, you can see that the foil is broken and didn't apply for the whole design! It's looks like the foil barely adhered to the paper most places. So frustrating! The foil is taunt when I tape it down. I tape on all 4 sides. Anyone know a solution? Thanks!

Try changing the pressure - Do less pressure when foiling using the maker & more pressure when using the explorer.

when i try to add foil ir just doesnt work. it gets very spotty or doesnt transfer very well at all.

Hey! Are you making sure to pull it tight when you tape it down? Also check the tip of your foil transfer kit is in the right way (I got this wrong first time I tried!). Some card stocks also don’t take the foil very well so try using a different one to see if that changes your results? Let me know how you get on!
