Just guessing about the FLP deletion in FS...maybe it's almost the same as in X-Plane, and the only thing you need to do is to make the WP selected first. It seems in X-Plane the first WP is always selecten when clicking FPL (it apperas in inverse text). You can toggle the selection by clicking on "PUSH CRSR". So...maybe in FSX you just click "PUSH CRSR" while in FPL to get the first WP selected. And then, use the outer rotating knob to highlight the WP to be removed (if there's more than one), and chen click CLR? Again, just guessing...but it kind of makes sense :)

Skip, I just noticed on a second viewing of this that on your approach your had full MP and 100% RPM yet you were at about 80 knots IAS. Is this the autopilot's doing?? I'm still getting to know my Baron and it can be a handful. Peace...

very thank you, i do get this over time :) Hard to learn all. A Question: Can you help with the Radio Frequency ? i want to know: how to setup correctly, and where can i get the Frequencys in XPlain 11 ? Also one Question to this is: how can i enter the game menu ? See a lot of Toturials in XPlain 10, but if i go back to "Main Menu" i not can setup my Flight Controls inside the game, i need to restart to get the real Main menu. Did you have any Ideas for ? ( And thank you, you helped a lot, so i understand the GPS Navigation now - that is great !!! )

Hi opafritzsche, There are a lot of websites that can help you, do some searching and check out the X-Plane.org AirNav is a great place to get airport information and will have the frequencies you are looking for, only in the USA unfortunately. Just type in the airport name or the airport identifier such as KSFO, KRDD etc. www.airnav.com/airports If you open the map page you can click on an airport and it will display airport frequencies in the upper right corner of the screen in X Plane 10. In X Plane 11 open the map and click on the airport, a box will open, click on the details tab for more information such as altitude, radio frequencies, and weather conditions. The problem with XP map is it only covers a small area so to get airport information you will need to locate your airplane at the airport you want information about and any other airport that is shown on the map. I have several videos on navigation, go to my channel and watch the videos on navigation, you can find the videos here: kzbin.infoplaylists To get to the settings in X Plane 11 in the upper right corner of the screen you will see some icons. Click on the second one from the right (it looks like three little vertical sliders) to open the settings page. There you can adjust your setting. Hope this helps. Blessings, skip

Hello WEH, I am so sorry, to disturb you again, but i have a Question to: i Download 2 Aircraft. ( 1x Payware, 1x Freeware ) all write: "just copy to your Aircraft Folder" but i cant see, i cant choose, they are inside the Folder, but nothing is displayed, they are just: not to Select in Game. What i doing wrong ?

Hi opafritzsche, If you are using X Plane 11 the airplanes may not work. When you start X Plane it looks for airplanes that will work and show them but if the airplane will not work in XP it ignores them and they are not displayed. Sorry to say a lot of free airplanes and some payware airplanes will not work in X Plane 11. Most payware airplanes will have an update after XP11 is officially released. If you purchased XP11 you can also get XP10, so to fly these airplanes that don't work in XP11 you need to download XP10. I highly recommend getting XP10 if you haven't already as XP11 will probably have some "growing pains" if you know what I mean and it's nice to have XP10 to fly if something goes wrong with 11. Yes but: you can convert them, just using the X-Plain 10 Aircraft editor. did you not know this ? can i help ? you only need to Edit the "ACF" File this is really easy to made. if i cen help, tell me.

Glad to see you go it figured out. I went through the process of converting airplanes but not all would work in XP11 and some airplanes loaded but don't work right and looked strange. Wow you are doing great work I'd love to see you work in WED and create scenery for X Plane!! Blessings, skip

Hellop WEH, hm, whagt does not work ? All the Plains i convertet work good, the Problem is GPS Navi or the Details ( i dislike for example the 337 because: the complete Hull is really primitive,it is like "just build one Mash, and sell it" very disgusting in my eyes. But, what does not work for you ? Maybe i can try to help! I am new here, but i understand a LOT of Model building, shaders and other Things. I am happy to help you, you have helped me so much with your toturials. if i can help you, i am very happy.

Hi opafritzsche, Yea I converted the ones I use most in Plane Maker 11 worked fine. If I have any question I'll be sure and contact you. I've been wondering how to move instruments on panels for the airplanes that don't use the 2D panel anymore. Ive manage to move some but it takes a bit of time and I'm just not ready to put a lot of time in that. I want to start work on new videos for XP11, need to remake some old videos that no longer are valid. Thanks for your offer, you may be hearing for me in the future :-) Blessings, skip

Hi a5teroth, Yes I'm a student pilot in real life, I have close to 60 hours in a Cessna 172N and 172SP. I fly out of Benton Field in Redding Califolrnia and San Carlos California. I have learned a lot from my classes and from my instructor as a student pilot but everything for the Garmin 430 and 540 I've learned just by experimenting in X Plane and watching other videos. With the "K" its the ICAO Code of the airport, which pilots use in real life. The Code in fsx is an IATA Code, which airlines and passengers see. The ICAO Code has always 4, the IATA always 3 Letters, for example the ICAO of Frankfurt is EDDF, the IATA FRA. For a flight Simulator is it extremely unprofessional, that a PILOTS GPS uses IATA Codes. (not only because of this x-plane is more professional)

The Garmin in FSX also uses the ICAO 4 letter code, it just allows the choice of ICAO or IATA.
