Really love what these people are doing and I'm grateful, my problem is with the Animal Crossing devs, why do they love to make it as annoying as possible when visitors arrive or depart? Literally got stun locked and couldn't pick up nor move for more than 10 minutes

That is not an issue that the devs create. They want everyone to enjoy their islands as much as possible. The issue lies in the fact that people come and go one after another. In some places, people go as groups. a group of say 4-5 people arrive one after another and meet at the airport and leave when everyone is finished. It all depends on whos running the island and how busy the island may be. There could be a hundred people waiting to visit for example

The only really annoying part about going to a Treasure Island is if you are on a really popular island is the number of interruptions you get when people are constantly coming and going because then we all have to wait for what feels like an eternity before we can get back to what we were doing it's a revolving door

I really appreciate the treasure islands with villager photos! I was able to grab the photos of all my past villagers who moved before I got their photo, plus it allowed me to grab a few just for aesthetic decoration without having to grind through the actual villagers! Bunnie, Freckles and Puddle’s photos look great in my pink kitchen.

IKR. I'm designing a private one ATM, and even though 90% of the work is done in a save editor, or through an emulator if you want to flesh things out before hosting, the amount of setup you have to do is kind of immense took 3 hours just flattening the world, clearing all the junk, and making paths in my case cause it is a private one I made 3-Wide Paths, and I haven't even gotten to adding stuff in, I just learned how to spawn items in bulk. Although even though I know how to add items, it's knowing what items to put, and how to present... which is a real hassle, which is why I came here just to see examples

If you want less interference while using treasure islands, I highly recommend playing late at night. (We’re talking 2am late). I stayed up going to treasure islands until two and I only got interference about every 30 minutes. (Cross islands) so it made my experience a lot better!

I never would have been able to get the Sanrio items without visiting a treasure island. It's so nice to be able to visit these places & get a chance to get the exclusive items. I didn't know about the recipes thing or the cataloging thing either! I went to treasure islands for the first time last night & was learning recipes and stuff but thankfully i ended up being the only one on the island since it was odd timing, so at least I didn't mess anyone up too bad lol. Here’s a tip for treasure island. Pick up a BUNCH of nook tickets. You can sell them for a lot. From doing that, I went from 1,000 bells to 1.5 million bells I have a question tho, on the treasure islands I’ve visited, all of there villagers were in boxes, so moving out tomorrow anyway, could you like- bring the villager back to you island? There moving anyway.

Pee Pod Bay is a really nice one so is Sakuraa Gaming would recommend those a variety of different items and free come and go trips. I think the worse one I found was Nookémon Network, the items on the free island is only royal crowns and NMT, the owner was constantly pushing for donations by closing the free island and banned people who said that they couldn't donate. Yeah avoid that one like the plague.

Another tip is that most treasure island streamers have videos of the island with the code so keep an eye on it when you are trying to get onto certain islands. If someone else is traveling over there you can see it and that may be what is causing interference with your flight

Hi Janis - I just mean that you shouldn't pick up and then drop the items. You should take all the items you pick up, or throw them in a garbage can. I hope that clarifies it, sorry for the confusion 💕

I have been to treasure islands, I was told by the person running it to learn the DIY on the island because they found that the recipe disappeared before you got back to your island. Mind you that was from them directly, otherwise I would have just gone back to my island instead.

Yes, there are a few that will not last in the pockets, in those cases it's better. I would still always ask the island creator to make sure that's ok. I'm sure more TI creators will be changing the rules on that at least partially

Hello of course, this is mainly because on these islands they are programmed to respawn items when they are picked up, by dropping things it stops items from being able to respawn in their place correctly. Not cataloging is just so that you don’t block people from coming and going when you have your menu open :) hope that helps!

99% of treasure island owners are so kind and cool, I rarely find toxic people in the treasure island community *cough cough* nookemon network *cough cough* nookemon network isnt even just treasure islands theyre toxic in general *cough cough*

Treasure island story: i was struggling to get on, and i asked if anyone was done, and then this other person said, and i quote, "Everyone get off the islands and everyone else dont go on them, i want to go on them" to which i replied asking why they should since they also were getting things. They didnt speak after i asked them that.

I love the treasure islands & the sub islands are even better. There’s only like 1 person in one island at a time because not many people wanna pay for it so no interruptions, just peace 😂
