Thanks for the vid, this really helps people affected by the defect rate and unreliability of the current AIO

I'm really surprised by the V1's ability to squeeze in a 280 mm rad - I'd like to see this built.

Nice vídeo 🤌 Just love the H1 and mine is full custom loop👌 Would love to see a full build on the V1 with the 280mm

Oh nice! What components did you use in your v2? I was set on the V2 and then was a bit gutted when I saw how easy it was to fit a bigger rad in the v1! I need a smaller GPU!

@@CrazyTechLab mine is the V1, but if i found a V2 deal i would upgrade because of the rear fan and CAM module My build have an R5 5600X and a RTX3070 FE Rad is an EK 140SE, dual pump from alphacool and the GPU block also from alphacool with a small reservoir for the liquid👌🏻 and a Status LCD on the front You need a shorter GPU or just go full custom loop The GPU block will be the perfect fit 👍🏻 and i prefer the 8x13 tubes from alphacool

Awesome video and as others have said if you have time would love to see the V1 build with a bigger rad.

I'd love to see a video where you actually stuff that 240 AIO in there! Maybe with some custom bracket to secure the PSU with? :)

How many fittings needed total 5? 4 right angles and one straight?
@CrazyTechLab Жыл бұрын
13:39 Radiator: 2 x right angle rotary fittings Block: 2 x EK micro 90 degree rotary, 1 x 13/10mm straight fitting, 1 x 90 degree rotary female, 1 x 90 degree rotary male 13/10mm.

Cool concept. I’m abit worried about the resonance noise though with that psu and rad fan facing each other
@CrazyTechLab Жыл бұрын
Yeah in the H1 V1 later in the video? I do agree plus they'll be fighting each other for airflow. You could switch the fan around -exhausting or intaking wouldn't make much difference.

@@CrazyTechLab TBH, I was contemplating on ditching my H1 V1 due to bad GPU temps when gaming. But after seeing this video, I changed my mind. I might go for a 240 AIO instead of a custom loop. AIOs with low profile pump block (Antec Kuhler k240?) could be a viable option. I imagine it being feasible to orient the radiator fans to face the mesh panels instead of the psu.
@CrazyTechLab Жыл бұрын
@@thegeekystuff3800 Definitely. Temps with the single 140mm in the V2 are 'acceptable' but I'm seriously contemplating a GPU downgrade so I can get a bigger rad in the V1. There's roughly 45mm of clearance between the AIO mount and the SFX-L PSU in the V1 if you move it to the centre of the case like I did. That's enough for a 30mm or thinner radiator and single full height fan.

My H1 v1's AIO seems to be dying on me, getting crazy high temps in Guild Wars 2, above 90 C on a R7 5700G, which is not a hot CPU. max 30 watts and less than 50 % CPU usage. Sad times. Might have to do a custom AIO or maybe air cool it. :S

@@SoulRollerFIN have you seen my H1 AIO repair video? It’s likely a blocked pump that can be fixed
@SoulRollerFIN4 ай бұрын
@@CrazyTechLab I've seen it. Those pumps seem to live max 3 years, so it's not worth repairing to me. Already ordered a NH-L12S. I'll check out the pump when the aircooler is installed.

@@SoulRollerFIN Yeah probably best to have a backup. A lot of people find it happens 2-3 years. Just gets clogged and looks like it died

@@CrazyTechLab I got bored while waiting for the new cooler. Opened the pump, cleaned the gunk, didn't even bother cleaning thermal paste, since I had recently repasted. Temps don't go much above 60 C now. :D I'm still swapping to the air cooler as soon as the pump starts acting up again.

What 13/10 straight Fittings did you use please

If youre going to dremel anyway, why not put 480mm (360+120) in a phanteks shift. Thats what i did

Already modded that with 3x120’s four years ago. Time for something new although I might revisit it at some point! m.kzbin.info/www/bejne/n5XUe6mpipl0kJI

Good video for science, but spending that much on custom cooling to have basically the same performance is pointless
@CrazyTechLab Жыл бұрын
It's far quieter than the stock cooler and I've removed the threat of the AIO gunking up which is a huge issue with the H1. I wasn 't trying to get betting cooling. Just something quieter and more reliable.
@hellovolker Жыл бұрын
I simple exchanged the stock fan with a noctua one and changed the pump speed to only 75% - its now completely quite on idle.
@Indieosa8811 ай бұрын
remember the number for the noctua you used? to get the correct pin and fan type/sixe etc? cheers@@hellovolker

So let me get this straight going through all that trouble for less cooling performance on top of that spending a few hundred on the components plus running the risk of breaking something in the process Don't be like this guys just buy a normal computer be a normal rational human 😂😂😂
@CrazyTechLab Жыл бұрын
Oh dear. Someone didn’t watch the video properly and understand that the stock cooler is noisy and unreliable. That’s why I replaced it. Not to get better performance. And the fact you can fit a thicker fan inside and a larger radiator, especially in the V1.
