Yessir. This look book was right on time. I picked up the tan version last month and it's true, compliments every time I put them on. I like to use them with olive chinos and a blue chambray shirt kinda like you did in the first look. One word of warning to the fellow viewers, don't try to use Saphir cream on them to shine, it didn't penetrate the leather but just sat on top and smeared. I've since been told that Cobblers Choice worked better and I agree. Got a nice shine on the toe and heel with it. As always, great vid. Thanks O.G.

Most of the population of Australia live in the coastal strip of the East Coast, where at the Victoria end the temperature is as hot as Florida and the north coast from Surfers Paradise to Cairns in FNQ is just as humid as Miami. Boots have always been popular here where they are worn across the total social spectrum, with Federal Government Ministers considering them to be the correct compliment to a navy blue suit. But here any boot that is priced from $A250plus has a solid leather sole, that can be repaired. While I rarely wear my hand made dress boots to business meetings in Melbourne, which I am told has a great similarly with Boston, I do a lot of business in Sydney and Brisbane, and I always pack my light weight dress boots in my carry-on luggage. They are extremely comfortable to wear for 12 hours a day, when walking around the CBD. That's because the leather sole can "breath". The brand of boot worn on international travel by the Prime Minister of Australia is R M Williams, that are made in Adelaide, South Australia and are exported worldwide. But they carry a premium price. Phil.

Band collar shirt looks really smart. While they were very popular in Australia a decade ago the major Department store and premium Men's wear stores have been bought by South African companies and the mid-range fashion sector has been flooded by both European and Japanese groups dumping end of Northern Hemisphere stock, so the Local Men's Wear suppliers and retailers have been forced to close down. But the real suprise is that local buyer's have during the last 18 months started to buy the entire range of mens clothing online. There are sound reasons why online and mail order shopping was never generally accepted here, but the loss of the local brands and Australian owned Department stores and national men's clothing shops has radically changed the way they buy clothing in Australia. I went looking for a band collar shirt in the CBD after being inspired by the one you wore a fortnight ago, but I couldn't find any that had the modern style of the one you wear in this video. So it looks like I will now have to start paying better attention whenever you mention the name of the brand of clothing that has caught my eye. While the boots you are wearing today wouldn't make the fashion scene in Melbourne and Sydney, leather dress boots made locally by R M Williams are still popular with everyone from Outback stockmen to all recent Prime Ministers and good quality leather Chelsea Boots are very popular casual wear. I enjoy your presentations because these days my peer group in Business are all at least half of my age, so I don't dress to stand out, but to blend in. Your videos keeps my fashion knowledge at the forefront, because Australia is basically half a season behind the Northern Hemisphere. Phil.
