One time i missed the nail and hammered my finger and didnt even cry. i have lightning reflexes. i dropped a pen the other day, and with the SAME HAND swooped down like a fucking ninja and caught it before it hit the ground. You cant train for that sort of reaction speed. Once i fought this guy who was like 10 foot tall. The fight was over before he even knew it started. I instantly judged his exact style by the way he was standing, realized the move he would make and then constructed my counter....I beat him with my mind and then walked away. Want to win in a bar fight? don't say stupid insulting things to drunk people. Better yet, don't go where stupid drunk people gather. ADDED MUCH LATER; Nothing wrong with drinks with friends at the neighborhood bar. But every cop knows where the vast majority of bar fights happen in your town. Just don't go THERE. And if someone starts an argument, diffuse it. Nobody ever "wins" a bar fight. There is just less damage done to the "winner". And your bruises and knocked out teeth? ...you got that for free. Alcohol affects us all differently. Several drinks make most of us more chatty. Some get sad, some get friendlier, some just loosen up a bit. Some get quieter. And some people get MEANER when they get drunk. Avoid the mean ones. And avoid the places that fight regularly happen. Fighting doesn't get you anything. It only costs you. I speak from experience.

@Hammer_of_creation You can avoid well over 99% of fights by not starting them, not arguing with drunk people, not allowing an argument to escalate, and walking away from a heated argument. No need to live in a bubble. And plenty of people don't drink, and lead full lives. Not being an idiot helps. Not being an aggressor helps. Not judging you for drinking with friends, but not drinking is perfectly acceptable as well.

First, try to walk away, no matter what, even if they're calling your wife a nasty words. Remember you will be held responsible even if its "self defense". Most places have cameras, and if you have a way out but dont take it, you will be responsible for rhe cost of your attorney.... and last time i needed one for a misdemeanor, it cost me 17k by the time we went to trial. If you dont have that kind of money then youll spend time in jail, loss of job, and a record, wishing you just have walked away

Sometimes there is that one guy who just wont back down, and might not even stop beating you it goes their way. For these reasons, everyone should know how to defend themselves from an attack and not depend on the good will of said attacker to know boundaries when they are most likely drunk or on substances. In these scenarios someone will get hurt and you have to make sure its them and not you.

My rule of thumb is to get your hands up first like your implying wait a minute lets discuss this. You see, your hands are already half way there. The head butt is one of the best tactics you can use, if your already committed to a fight, With your hands raised up your opponent my think your backing down. But in reality, you only have to extend your hand, fist or palm and get that critical first blow in. I've been in more bar fights than I can remember, drunk of course. Lost most of them. But I've found that once you get that first punch in, your going to feel that shot of adrenalin that instantly gets dumped into your bloodstream, and often takes the wind right out of your opponents sails. I was bullied as a teen. Thanks for sharing these videos, your a good man who likely wants the weak ones to have a little faith in themselves. BRAVO

I do bar security (Armed). I just wanted to share a quick story that doesn’t relate to fighting. About a month ago, I stepped out of the bar for some fresh air, and I saw a young man walking out of the bar. Naturally, I wanted to be polite and say “Have a good night”! Now he was walking a little fast, but when I spoke to him he stopped walking, turned around and pointed at me, then he let out probably the loudest burp I have ever heard! Afterwards, he ran away, full speed! I was laughing so hard that I couldn’t tell my partners what actually happened!
