I doubt you'll ever read this but this series has been the MOST helpful outside of your openings and strategy overviews. I've gone from 800 elo to 1200-1300 in the span of a monthish just from really buckling down and focusing. I'm also verbalizing similar to how you do which REALLY helps me to think out my positions. I'm 35 and I doubt I'll ever be able to reach GM level, or even IM level now, but I do want to compete in my first tournament in the next year or so.
