I mean carlos sainz losing his chance at a 2nd chanpionship on the last stage of the rac rally in ’96 is probably a strong contender to this.

I remember crying because how Toyota lost that win in 2016 I feel it undeserved but then in 2018 I regained that happiness because my fellow countrymen Alonso won and this year also Miguel Molina won for my country, Spain

Toyota has never won Le Mans with equal competitors but only against inferior teams.

And once again this year, Toyota has proved they never TRULY won Lemans. I remember Buemi saying at the 2023 edition quote "We want to prove our critics wrong, We can win Lemans against serious competition" Welp they already failed twice... Toyota’s '''wins''' at le mans aren’t wins, they are bonified participation trophies for being the only ones on the grid in LMP1/Hypercar. "Without Struggle, There is no honor" as Jacky Ickx said. So no... in the eyes of the fans (except the hardcore toyota fans) Toyota has no honorable Lemans wins. and to this day in 2024, they keep proving that they are incapable of winning with competition.

They were on track to win this year until the second Ferrari punted them off the track
