Photographic memory is absolutely real. I and several musicians i know can visually remember entire musical pieces and can rewrite them from memory.

Every single " test" they do is not a test of photofraphic memory at all. These are all tests of idedic memory. If they wanted to test photographic memory, they should have had him write down page 350 from memory without any other prompt than the page number. Or copy down an image, like a map. This was completely misleading.
