I love your truth. You don't like exercise and you don't drink water. So many others need to tell their TRUTH. When we realize what we aren't doing right, that's the area of focus that can make our differences. I'm in the same shoes. These are areas "I" need to focus on. Thanks for sharing

I really enjoyed the video, it’s like listening to 2 friends that are experiencing the same thing as me. I been on an emotional roller coaster for the past few days because on Friday aug. 14 is my 1st yr keto anniversary. Looking back to when I first started when I was 250 lbs I was desperate to change my life and feel healthy. As of today I’m 188lbs and I feel healthy and determined to continue. I truly appreciate the time you both take on doing these videos because they motivate me so so much to continue with this lifestyle. 😘💪

As a diabetic I do keto to avoid medications like insulin. Which by the way puts weight on - around 30 pounds. I have never used these meds but was told right away that I should but nope I just changed my diet. And no, I hardly move. Lol Other reasons for doing keto is to avoid blindness and amputations. The weight loss is a bonus.
@gaypreator8547
@gaypreator8547 2 жыл бұрын
Amputation there’s always that. 😀 I lost a keg in an accident, I am fine with the loss and glad my adaptation was great. However, would never chose or knowingly go this route. Great choice on your part, preventive lifestyle adjustment. Low Carb KETO has been a God send for my weight management, a deal breaker for any amputee. 🍀

I started keto in May 2018. Starting weight was 350. I was at 250 a year later and have been stalled for over a year. I have maintained and not gained, so that is a positive. Would love to lose 50 more! Even though it is frustrating that I am stalled for so long, but it is encouraging to me that I haven't gained. I drink a gallon or more of water a day. I am not a very strict keto, but never was. I have been somewhere between strict and dirty keto. I'm sure the strict keto police would say there is no in-between. Y'all are lovely and a pleasure to watch and listen to. Thank you

You think it's fat which it mostly is, but those unlabeled carbs add up as do the calories 😳 And I know I eat way too many nuts, omg. A portion of nuts is not much quantity when you look at it. So with you on the lazy keto. If i had to track and weigh food, i know i would just never make it. I think it's also really important to lose weight eating higher calories rather than starve yourself right off the bat. If you can lose weight eating 2000-2500 calories then you should do that until you stop, then cut down from there.

this Monday i went out with some friends and broke my KETO diet for a night. i had 3 20oz beers and people, it wrecked me. i was useless until about 2:30 the next day. good news is that my stomach was so upset that i didnt eat anything but an avocado the next day, so i got back on track fairly quickly... but for me, when i want to jump start some movement, i would just cut a little from your routine and do a 6/18 intermittent fasting routine for a few days. it kicks in gear and then start staggering the I.F. to every other day. if you're weightloss stalls again, i typically do a meal resent to 3 per day. cheat days dont really help me jump start a new wave of weightloss. it typically shows a small weight increase with a quick drop back to plateau

I worked with a woman who was very healthy, walked daily, but drank coffee all day long. She developed dementia and is now down to 79lbs because she’s losing the ability to swallow. It’s so sad. I talked to her daughter who couldn’t make sense of how her mom got dementia, she never drank or even took prescription drugs. I looked up excessive coffee consumption and dementia and sure enough a UK study(I think) showed and increased risk for dementia by 52% with people who drank 6cups of coffee a day.

@sanctifiedbytruth6048

Overall people consume too much sugar. And I definitely think sugar effects the brain. But coffee is a fairly recent thing in history; I think only about the past 500 years have people been drinking coffee on a daily basis. There’s definitely good KZbin videos explaining the dangers of coffee for motivation to quit the addiction. This is from pubmed: “Caffeine increases energy metabolism throughout the brain but decreases at the same time cerebral blood flow, inducing a relative brain hypoperfusion. Caffeine activates noradrenaline neurons and seems to affect the local release of dopamine. Many of the alerting effects of caffeine may be related to the action of the methylxanthine on serotonin neurons. The methylxanthine induces dose-response increases in locomotor activity in animals. Its psychostimulant action on man is, however, often subtle and not very easy to detect. The effects of caffeine on learning, memory, performance and coordination are rather related to the methylxanthine action on arousal, vigilance and fatigue. Caffeine exerts obvious effects on anxiety and sleep which vary according to individual sensitivity to the methylxanthine. However, children in general do not appear more sensitive to methylxanthine effects than adults. The central nervous system does not seem to develop a great tolerance to the effects of caffeine although dependence and withdrawal symptoms are reported.

I gave up dairy cold turkey on Easter Sunday this year and lost the last 30 pounds just from doing this one thing. I’ve lost 70 in total. It was the hardest thing as I was the type of person who ate cheese on cheese! Between the Sunday and the Wednesday I lost 6 pounds! I never had any GIT upset with dairy but I obviously had inflammation with it. I don’t miss it at all now 7 months later x

Great tips!! I'll share one of mine.... my excercise is grocery shopping lol. I walk for a reason, it's just not enjoyable for me, but one excercise is! ... rebounding on a mini trampoline.... you can lose so fast with little effort. I can watch a 30 min program while doing a walking motion and loose weekly... moving to music is even better. Its private and fun. Enjoy!!

I’ve been doing this for a month and I’ve lost nothing. In the morning, I drink Keto Coffee, so about 8:00am, then around 11am, I’ll have chaffel with avocado and bacon, then around 5:00-6:30 depdending on my dinner break at work, I’ll eat a steak, some low carb veggie, and beef and cabbage for dinner. I’ll go home around 11:15 PM and maybe have a low carb ice cream bar before bed.

How much do you have to lose? Are you taking measurements? It will take months to see a real difference. You just need to keeping going. I’d cut the keto products for a while to see if it makes a difference. We don’t recommend them during the first few months to optimize weight loss! We use them for maintenance mode. Hope this helps Michelle! -Sarah

@@ketotwins I’m happy to report that I’ve lost a total of 18lbs and I’m not even sure how many inches, but that part is obvious, especially in clothing. I’m menopausal so it took time for me to figure out what I can eat that won’t bloat me. So I do know that I need to eat plenty of protein and less veggies and berries and keto snacks. Those keto snacks were killing me. So I need to keep those to a serious minimum.

@@Michelle-wd2oy I don't know if you'll see this response but what you said about eating Keto for one month and not losing is my biggest fear. I'm 22 days in and I lost 12 pounds but gained back 1. Every day I fear I won't lose a pound and if I go up, I freak out. I know I shouldn't weigh every day but I can't help myself! I was wondering how you're doing 7 months later? I'm also in menopause. Right now my hormones are wacked out.

@@TracieClaiborne I’m still eating low carb. Over the 7 months I’ve been eating various ways. I went to not drinking coffee at all, now I have a cup a day. I ate only beef for a couple of months, now I’ve introduced different meats and green vegetables and an occasional fruit, mandarins. I had a weird craving for them that hasn’t stopped. I cut out eggs for now, I eat Keto yogurt and 4 sausage patties for breakfast. I haven’t fasted in months, I was doing that a lot in the summer. My weight has been consistent, but I think I have gained some inches. I should probably cut out alcohol. I do think being menopausal is making my weight loss a bit harder. I also haven’t exercised, so I’m going to start incorporating that when the weather gets better here in Michigan. You can do this, you’ll loose inches before weight most likely. I strongly encourage you to try it. I think you’ll find that its not that hard.
