Oh wow! We love your videos. I was just doing some research because we're about to shoot a "How we make money and travel" topic video and this was so great. Zac and I also went to SCAD (photo and illu), worked for a few years in ATL and are now digital nomads. I feel like we're twins! Hope we can meet up some day. Thanks for the great content. We've watched your solar video a million times as we're prepping for our new conversion.

Thanks for the great breakdown. I'd asked this question of you previously and received a gracious reply. The idea of a nomadic lifestyle is very appealing to me, but I'll have to settle for the occasional road trip until we retire (recent traveling trainer, newly promoted sedentary training developer).

Just what I was looking for! My husband and I are going on the road full time in April and I’d love to know: What company do you use to print out your merchandise that you keep on hand? Thanks in advance!
@BoundForNowhere2 жыл бұрын
We only keep small things on hand and either out source our printing for shirts or try to time it when we're home for the holidays so it doesn't take up space in the rig. But for stickers, @stickermule is the best of the best, their stickers last FOREVER even in the elements. I have a code for $10 off your first order actually if you decide to try them: www.stickermule.com/unlock?ref_id=6339770701&

Great to see creative types making a good living. Thank God! Quite a switch from the starving artist living in a garrett, which no whole-souled artist would ever accept for themselves. Thank you, we always strive to be 100% honest and 100% transparent with who we are and what it takes to live this way. I think there is a lack of that kind of transparency on these subject on IG and YT. So we decided to start making videos we wished there were when we were prepping for the road

My whole career has been in ultra-structured corporate and military environments, so surviving as an artist is foreign to me. So, my question is, as artists, do you *look for clients*, or do clients *look for you*? I just wondered how you end up getting things to work on. Thanks!
@BoundForNowhere5 жыл бұрын
That is a deep topic that I'm working on a video about actually. Initially you have to find the clients then everything has grown by word of mouth since

Loved the intro! I want to do something similar; selling my prints and other products while on the road. What tips do you have for printing, storing and then shipping your products while living on the road? Would love to know how you guys make it work in a small space and while constantly being on the move!
@BoundForNowhere5 жыл бұрын
My best advice would be to only make what you are comfortable carrying. I like to be the one to send these things out so it's important that the products are mindful of both space and weight!

There is definitely a common thread running through all these full-time You Tube Van travellers - They are all in Art and IT. There is a shortage of plumbers, gun smiths, linotypists and hotel maids representing the full time traveller group. Most folk can't make money whilst on the road.
