We need to break the programming and if we're called racist for it.... So what? We know that we're not racist or being racist, so let them say what they will...We get called racist for existing, for walking down the street and not jumping out of the way fast enough, for all kinds of stupid crap.... We should freely and happily celebrate and show and have pride for our heritage and culture just as any other people and learn to ignore and tune out the toxic, drama starting racists.... I've started doing this... I've started speaking my true opinions even though people say it's racist (it's not) oddly I'm under the impression that we're all equal and no one should be judged on looks alone but if say you point out that it's racist to call white people milk cricket or it's racist to expect someone to jump out of your way cuz of your skin color or by mentioning that for the small percentage of black people, there's a large percentage of crimes committed by this group.... Just by speaking truths and facts people go crazy.... I'm beginning to think that the only racism a lot of people know is the racism in their own hearts against others.... Either way we have to stop falling for it because we need to unite against the real problem people.... Our leaders...

Well i am albino, and I’ve been bullied my throughout my entire childhood and teen years for it. That’s why i had to start dying my hair eyebrows and putt makeup. To somewhat hide it. So even till this day at age 28 , if someone was to call me white demon, bleached ghost whatever…that hits deep! If it got that bad that it got accepted for this to be truly shouted on the streets in the faces of people like me, I’d think of ending my life…honestly…nothing worse than living with a disability (internal and external, cus i also have poor eyesight) and being hated daily and not wanted in this world, and this hatred towards you being accepted as something normal, and even being praised… truly nothing worse than that! Especially considering that I CAN’T tan, is impossible for me not matter what i did! Let’s not mention that I as an albino am not being represented whatsoever…(caucasian albino) because at least african albinos and asian albinos do modelling etc… but is not enough, we are nowhere in movies or animations (unless is an evil character) and even then they don’t usually cast true albino people, but instead paint the actors faces and dye their hair! I can confidently say that my group of people is the most neglected and hated! For God’s sake in Tanzania they even kill poo albino folks for limb parts for witchcraft! So evil!

I remember sophomore year of high school, I had this friend who touched my hair w/o asking but I didn't freak out or anything and sure it was awkward but at least it wasn't a total stranger. And this is only important in the context of the story, I don't care about what someone looks like, but this friend was black. To add to the story, she had joined ROTC and had to cut her hair at the beginning of the year because on uniform day when she put it in a bun her hair was too big on the top so when she touched my hair she complimented it and said it was so soft. I was still a little awkward, but this shows it doesn't happen to one race. And to everyone who thinks white people's hair is straight and boring, my hair has been wavy and frizzy (when brushed w/o water) my whole life, so there are varieties in all people's hair textures, not exclusive to race. Another thing is I never made friends based on my race. My friend in my story up there bonded with me because we both liked art and were artists. I sat by her every day in our Digital Game Dev class cause she was my friend when I went there and we showed each other our art and such :D I even gave her my old drawing tablet when I got a new one because I figured I didn't need two and she might like having it

Number 36 is a trap ("Don't assume people of color can't speak English.") A Mexican friend of mine says he hates it when other Latinos assume he can speak Spanish (even though he can, which makes the grievance pretty funny to me!) A friend from India said when he first visited the US and he couldn't speak English very well, he appreciated when Americans assumed that about him and talk more slowly and simply for him. He said people in Europe are rude because they always spoke to him at full speed and had no patience for him, even when it was clear he couldn't speak their language well (if at all). At a grocery store in the LA area, I asked an Asian man if the empty cart near us was his. I recognized right away that he didn't speak English, so we used gestures to communicate, and we politely parted ways. Then my wife (who was born and raised in Japan) said it was rude to assume the man could speak English. She said when she first moved to the US, it made her feel bad when strangers would assume she could speak English. (But I don't think that man took any offense to my assumption.) Rule 36 itself is a problem; I think it's best to feel out a situation on a case-by-case basis. There is no one-size-fits-all solution, it entirely depends on the person.
