I'm currently cutting, and I also like to go heavy on the weights with longer rest periods in between sets. I don't wanna lose my strength while also not taxing my body too much considering I'm on a caloric deficit

Do you workout through an injury? In other words my shoulder hurts, but I feel I can push through and I want to...if I go and just train a little lighter...is that preferable to not at all? Also sometimes I find the gym will actually help me feel better and less sore
