I recently picked up a TSP-X in 6.5 PRC. It's a fantastic chassis and very rugged. My folding mechanism had a bit of play, so I removed the green section, making it a non-folding chassis. The recoil lug set screw was a bit loose, but that wasn't a big deal as I tore the chassis completely apart anyways. I modified the trigger spring to reduce the pull weight (cut off 1 turn of the coil). I torqued the everything down based on the specs on SCSA's website. I just started load developments for it and groups are around 0.5" at 100 yards.

Just had my Lithgow LA102 (.223) paired with the Oryx chassis. Had to take to a gun smith for fitting - absolutely was NOT a simple drop-in. Then had the issue of the MDT AICS mag jammed in the well - also requiring a gun smith’s expertise. However, now it’s all together, it is a truly amazing rifle.

Just got the tsp x last week. Glad i made the right choice. Is a bit on the heavy side but i'm a big boy so i can handle it. All the features you mentioned made my choice over ruger easy. 6.5 PRC recoil is like my .243 so stock pad doesn't matter to me.👍

I've bought a couple basic ones on Amazon and the nut to install the rails onto the rifle does not fit the two holes on top of the rifle. The holes are smaller than typical American guns it seems.

Hi. Forgive me for bothering you, but I have a request for help. I am writing to you from Poland. I bought a Howa 1500 6.5 PRC rifle on an ORYX chassis. Unfortunately, I do not have magazines for it, because in Poland the sellers do not know what magazines I should buy. Could you please help me and write which magazines will fit the 6.5 PRC and the ORYX chassis from the Howa 1500? If the MDT, could you please write me the MDT number? Best wishes Darek
@Bullets4Bucks2 жыл бұрын
The howa oryx uses the MDT chassis and I believe the 6.5 prc from Howa is a long action. You can use AICS mags or mdt mags

@@Bullets4Bucks Thank you very much, I have to ask only at MDT which magazines are for the 6.5 PRC long action. The ones that unfortunately are on the MDT website and that I bought, dedicated to 6.5 PRC, are for short action. I will write to them and wait for a reply. thank you once again
