Long answer: Re-writing history during British involvement e.g. HK airports and MTR, Cantonese under threat, driving left side, UK plugs, internet access, social credit, HKD currency, border now is nothing more than a crossing, HK artists, TV, music and films were silent or diluted, HK news, courts, Legco are state controlled, more Mainlanders than Hong Kongers on streets of Hong Kong, weaponizing Han Chinese population to blurring the line on local level just like in Manchu, Tibet, Mongolia, Xinjiang (the 5 colors flag of China). Because in CCP eyes there is only 'one' China, they want rest of the world to believe the land, the people, the language, the history and the politics are one of the same.
