I bake everything without refined white sugar, in fact we don’t have refined white sugar in the house…but don’t mistake honey for a natural sweetener and say it is not sugar. All forms of sugar, sucrose and fructose, turn to glucose in the body; fruits, refined sugar, turbinado sugar, honey, maple syrup, agave, etc. I also usually replace the eggs with flax seed and/or chia seeds. Love your channel. Great ideas.

Great recipe! I didn't have a loaf pan so I subbed it for 12 muffins. And to make it fruit-sweetened I made a paste consisting of 10 dates and 1/4 + 2 tablespoons of milk. It baked for about half the time a loaf would bake for and turned out great! thankyou so much for this amazing recipe.

I tried the recipe, but with raisins instead of chocolate chips and it was delicious! I also added a few roasted and chopped almonds and it gave a nice crunch. In my opinion the bread was sweet enough, but some of my family members said they would have it just a little bit sweeter.

I made this yesterday, and it's fantastic. I added both the chocolate chips AND some chopped walnuts. Next time I would use raisins instead of chocolate though. I used rolled oats instead of quick-cooking, which I think perhaps impacts the moistness; I might add more applesauce next time to offset that. But it's a wonderful breakfast bread. I just received 8 lbs. of Bob's Red Mill rolled oats and I'm looking forward to trying more of your healthy baked goods recipes. Thank you!

I used Bob's WW flour and almond milk as substitutes in your Pumpkin bread in a mug recipe. I did it in a bowl then I put 1 tbsp Calorie free Walden farms Caramel syrup after it was cooked. It was delicious. Thank you for your recipe!

There are many recipes of pumpkin bread but I like your healthy version! Great idea to use oat flour instead of all- purpose flour! I like butternut squash puree you used instead of pumpkin, how smart it is, never thought about it! The bread looks so delicious and moist! Definitely gonna try it soon!🎃😋

Love this recipe...tried them as muffins - doubled the recipe and was able to get a dozen. Had some batter left over, so I added a half cup of melted peanut butter and made some cookies. I got 10 cookies, and they turned out very nicely!! (PS, I used your homemade date pate as sweetener, which I highly recommend!)

Made it yesterday but with barely flour . Some stores sell it. It was delicious 😋. Thanks. and I used sweet potatoes instead of pumpkin coz it s more available and easier to deal with. Boiled water and put it then when soft I smashed it .

Instead of baking the pumpkin for an hour u can just cut into wedges without the peel, cover and microwave for 10mins (flip after 5mins) until fork tender. Then blend :)

Some cooks bake the pumpkin because it deepens the caramelized flavor-kind of like comparing a baked sweet potato to a boiled one. Microwaving is a good holiday timesaver though.

I still have a few of your recipes to try. But this one is going on the list as well. Also I really enjoy the healthy foods which is a big reason I love your channel. Meanwhile I have another request? “Healthy Blueberry Cobbler” or “Apple” If at all possible.
