Yeah, we can really see a big difference, specially on a rinky-dinky cellphone or tablet! I can barely see a difference between 4K and 1080 on my 72" TV..... unless I push my nose up to the 4K TV screen.

I just got a GoPro 9 and start up like you did I saw that you had the snail icon on the front screen. Mine doesn’t show mine shows a “2X “ icon. Can you tell me if what I’m seeing is right?

Hi, Yes, GoPro changed that icon with the last update so now it shows the slow motion speed you are recording at, rather than just the snail icon.

Just a Tip for changing Lens: Pull lenses out a little and then twist counter clockwise. If this doesn't work, try wedging a thin card GENTLY (like a library or gift card) in between. To put back on, align the two metal bars, turn slightly counter clockwise and push down a little then twist clockwise until it's back in position! Hopefully this saves you from having sore fingers!

I cleaned the Hero Pro 9 lens by removing it. After that it seems there's a little space gap after I've put it back. Not really snag fit compared previously. Do you think it is still waterproof after I cleaned it? Thanks.

Yes, as long as the gap is even and you can't pull the lens cover off, it should still be sealed so water doesn't get inside and ruin your shot.

Yes, you will need to change it back to the regular settings. Somehow, your camera settings were changed for the Max Lens Mod. To switch the settings back, swipe down from the top of the screen. On the Dashboard, tap the bottom right icon so it's grey, not blue. You should have 5k and all of the other great settings now.

Hi Michael, Yes, sorry, GoPro renamed the GoPro App. It's now called Quik.

someone needs to steal go pros patented anti shake and make a camera that actually works. why would they put the sd card next to the battery and make it so hard to open. the creatoe must have done lots of drugs. he never updates much and releases a new go pro every year

A 5V 1A requirement means 1A minimum. Plugging it into a 2A charger will not hurt anything. The camera will draw the current it needs. It may even charge faster.

Hi Wayne, Making a video can seem complicated at first, but it's really not that hard once you get the hang of it. After you film, you need to transfer your footage to a phone or laptop like I showed in the video. Then, you need to edit. Editing can be a bit intimidating at first, but if you try it out first with a few clips, it starts to makes sense very quickly.

Just got my 9. Shot some video, took the card and put it in the card reader and the audio and video is clipped. It pauses every 8 or 9 seconds. Any hints? I also noticed if I replay the video on the camera, it sounds just fine with no hesitation. JUST FIGURED OUT THE PROBLEM...and will share it here. Instead of trying to view the videos off the memory card, I downloaded the videos to my hard drive. ALL WORKS FINE NOW!!! So, I've learned that viewing the video files off the memory card CAN cause your videos to stop and start but if you download them to your HD all is ok.

Hi Carson, If you are mounting it to a solid surface on your go kart, you would use an adhesive mount. If you have any poles to mount to, you could use the Roll Bar or Handlbar Seatpost Mount.
