I have had the 8GB ram and 64GB storage one for about 2 months and its been the best laptop, it's very snappy has no lag what so ever. I use it for all my assignments and it is great. I enjoy using the keyboard and it's just great.

Looks like a great device. I have a first.gen surface book which is a similar tall aspect and I really like it. 8gb of Ram is usually what I recommend to people buying Chromebooks. Chrome and ChromeOS are memory hogs.

this would be nice to play retro games on it, like nes/snes/megadrive it would be closer to taking up the whole screen. still $360 is kind of a high price for what you get. better get one of those Ryzen laptops that cost about 350-400. it's way better price for performance. and if you want this kind of experience, you can install one of the opensource chrome os or android versions for x86

I´ve tried it usb-c to usb-c on a Lenovo M14t portable monitor @ 1920x1080/60hz and also usb-c to HDMI (via an adapter) @ 1366x768 and it works fine so I think you should be able to do usb-c to HDMI @1920x1080.

At $360, I think this is _WAY_ overpriced. For closer to $250, you can find recent model iPads that are _MUCH_ better media machines, _MUCH_ better gaming machines and at least the equal as a web browsing machine. This Chromebook does have a keyboard, true, but the keyboard is hardly meant for serious and lengthy typing, so I'm not sure it's all that much more useful than the screen-tap keyboard on an iPad. I do own a Chromebook which I keep at the club just so I have a laptop available in case I need one (without having to plan ahead and always haul one around), but I paid closer to $200 for that. At that sort of price point, it makes more sense.

It's a Chromebook. Definitely fine with 32GB as far as the OS and updates forever on the thing. No way it gets bricked by that sotrage amount on ChromeOS. WIndows now? Yeah definitely. MINIMUM 64GB for WIndows, but 128 is preferred minimum.

@@erzascralet48 you'll brick the what servers as the the OS the minimum install of windows isn't the issue here it is applying the windows update can't comment on chrome book however I typically recommend anything lower that 1 terrabyte in some instances though 2TB would be the minimum option i would use in any build.. I have 2 bricked hp's running 32-64GB of ram as an OS disk with tend to fail under 1 install.. Not sure what the under install of chrome OS in terms of system resources.. at this moment the only OS you can use is android or a low mix of linux when I talk about the 12-14 inch flipper notebooks I base my opinion on owning 2 of them to knoe what i am talking about when i have run them myself to know 32-512GB is a brick service waiting to be a problem you only stave 1-3 kernel updates before it bricks itself because it has no way to form update management ..

@@jasonhowe1697 What Windows does is not relevant to this machine. The 32 GB here is enough for most people unless and until they get into using Android Apps and/or Linux, then it becomes a problem that you should not have on a $350 computer.
