My grandparents gave me this printer and I’m trying to get it working, it does work but it’s printing incredibly slow (no ink is on the paper but I’m going to do what you did in this video) but how can I fix the printer speed etc.

SPANISH LENGUAGE Muy bueno el video!! Felicitaciones. Me podras dar una mano con una HP B209 de cartucho x 4?. El display solo te indica atasco de papel. Los cartuchos es encuentran en el cabezal vacios. Pero cuando inicializa no corre el carro lo deja posicionado sobre su derecha. El scaneado lo realiza si lo sacas de su loop de pseudo error. No tiene nada de papel y no puedo quitar el cabezal por q esta en la zona de proteccion o inicializacion. Sin desarmar groseramente tenes algun tips? O indicarme como se saca la tapa superior ya q tiene tornillos pero en la parte de atras no logro encontrar como desarmarlo. Desde ya agradezco tu respuesta NOTA: Antes daba un error 036 ahora no se toma la molestia de informarme... Salu2 de ARGENTINA

I had to clean my printhead the other day when it stopped printing black. The ink is water soluble, so I just used hot water, a few squirts of window cleaner, a toothbrush, and compressed air to flush out the dried ink. There may be dried ink on the bottom edge and back of the ink jet plate that contacts the back side of the printhead. I used a bent Q-tip dipped in water to clean behind it. Blew out most of the water with an air duster and let it dry overnight. Works fine now.

Hi can you put some light on Carriage jam error I checked my b209a 30 times but didn't get why it shows this. One important thing is that the print head carriage bangs the walls of printer !

What do I do after I have cleaned and replaced everything and I still have error 0xc19a0020 on my screen?

The printer may need to be replaced, faulty printhead.

If you submerge the top bar, the alcohol will dissolve the white graphics and partially dissolve the yellow. It didn't seem to effect the magenta or cyan symbols though.

You don't need to use alcohol. The ink is water soluble. Hot water will dissolve it easily.
