Great fish bro. Welcome to the DD class. My DD and pb was a 14.24. Caught it in fla during spawning season. Was not looking at the bed but she was on the bed. Had a great limit had the 14.24 10.6 10.1 a 8 and a 6. We smashed them. Will never for get that day was the last tournament that my father and I fished before he passed away

I started fishing that pond in 1974. The dam has broken a few times over the years. Right now it is absolutely over run with tiny crappie so there's no doubt the bass have plenty to eat. I had a bass snatch a crappie off my hook about the time I got him to the boat. That bass was big. Glad you got a nice one.

At this time in my life I have very little time to fish but I still love too do it. A customer of mine has a small 7 acre pond that looks like something straight out of Southern Comfort( La Bayou ). Anyways, there’s a small boat that I use and it is flat loaded with bass! Every evening just before dark the ducks come flying in and it’s so beautiful and awesome and so satisfying. I’m not a tournament fisherman…… so why go anywhere else with my limited time to fish. During the summer, the pond gets almost totally covered with a pretty nasty, slimy scum weed…….
