Separating the casual and competitive loot pools would help solve the problem. Casual players could enjoy fun items, while competitive players could focus on their competitive strategies. Think about how many fun items that we have in each chapters that become best to neutral to useless when getting remove from the battle royale.

man when this season began it was so fun, the huge amount of chaos in the gameplay went together with the theme of the season after many nerf it's just not fun anymore, I remember wanting to play non stop when it first started, now I bearly play and when I do it's only to do the daily challenges and play some festival. thanks competitive players, hope you're happy that you cried enough so you can get the same meta from like 5 or so years and make the game feel stale

Competitive will always complain if they complained about fish giving 50 hp then anything that's just slightly overpowered but still balanced comp will cry about it. I know its funny to tell comp players to adapt but actually comp players always put themselves above casuals if they say they are so good then adapting shouldn't be difficult comp cod players adapt valorant players adapt overwatch players adapt so there is no excuse for comp players being "unable" to adapt if you cant adapt dont call yourself a comp player that is the first thing you learn when you enter the competitive scene learn how to adapt.

Again, I'm a casual player and I think most things are more balanced, the boom bolt is still pretty annoying but manageable, I just prefer the legacy Tac AR, I think things are a lot more even for people who EITHER wanna play the game traditionally (like me) with guns or with cars, now I once again just find it funny when I get run over by a car or run someone over, and not get frustrated when I get 2 shot by a car, the first week or 2 of this season I played a couple matches and it was just unplayable if you didn't have didn't have a car, now it's not one sided, my take on it is, before the nerfs, one sided completely vs now after nerfs playable both ways.

The issue i find with splitting the loot pool, is that there is also a large portion of the community, that flips between ranked and casual. It could become confusing and frustrating for many people if the loot pools are split. Sadly that seems like the best option though.

Alex, u literally said that casuals turn the game off if they r not having fun. That means that they r not gonna keep playing the game. Ik the casual scene is pretty large, but at the same time, it is also ppl that just started playing or came back to play from a long break. If they get destroyed by 2 or 3 different cars, I dont think theyll ever come back to the game.

EPIC should really consider separation... especially when things like these dont come around as often as they should in terms of fun anymore, fortnite is really losing that spark, especially with the recent riot of the ai running item shop rotations and holding back things like gaming legend skins, anime skins, etc. This could be the end of anyone actually enjoying fortnite as its slowly becoming more soulless, and dry with unusual battle passes..

Screw everyone, the gauntlet build damage nerfs are fine, in my opinion. Build mode just becomes zero builds, otherwise. With the cars though, they’re cars, just deal with it. The gauntlets, full counters shotguns. If you can’t kill them before you die, what’s the point of carrying a shotgun? Especially if they just break into the box, you can’t rly do anything other than build more and hope you don’t die, or run away.

This has to be one of the most controversial seasons Fortnite has ever done probably even more controversial than Primal and Wilds because litterally the entire community even myself hated Primal and Wilds ch5 s3 I love though the season started off with no nerfs and man was it fun I may have only played one game when there was no nerfs but man did I have fun, the 1st nerf update I may have played I played yesterday I think before the next nerfs but the 1st nerf you couldn't even notice it, and now the 2nd nerf is here if I played when the 2nd nerf happend yesterday then I didn't even notice there was a nerf I'll still have fun this season don't forget that the minigun is returning and it will be more fun because it will most likely be modable but also because of 2 things we have this season I'm not gonna say what these 2 things are because the sweats may see this comment and will complain to nerf the 2 things before the minigun returns

TL;DR Pros play, and know, the game more than most casuals. These people make their literal living off of being skilled at Fortnite, so having the entire game change from a game about shooting and building to a game of "get in the car or die" is extremely frustrating, as they now have to play an entirely different game in order to make their living. Solution: split unranked and ranked 👍 What people don't seem to understand is that pros literally have a job in Fortnite. Like, let's say you were a car mechanic, and your boss just randomly said "I feel like this shop is a bit boring, so from now on, every car that comes in here will have a device attached to it; this device will, at random, make every piece of the car detach from each other! So, you may be able to fully fix car without it falling apart, or it could all break at any time." You'd be mad. Fortnite pros have put hours of practice into the game, training, hiring coaches, studying, etc. Their boss basically said "you know, all this building and shooting, the whole essence of the game, is getting kinda boring. So, now at random, you could just have a car fly through your builds and one-shot you. You may go a whole game without anyone killing you with the car, but, more than likely someone will run you over if you aren't in a car of your own. Don't try to build or shoot, it won't work." (Very weird analogy, I know 😅) You can say "get a life" all you want, but the truth is that many of these pros have a far higher-paying job than most people, and it is based on skill. Any good competitive game will cater to pros, because the pros are the ones who play the game the most and know it better. HOWEVER, Fortnite can just split pubs and Ranked to make both sides happy!
