When an American game gets Japanese, exclusive merch is always crazy to me. It makes sense when the game is Japanese to begin with. But when it's an American game and we get locked out, it's just wild. They might sell knock offs on Aliexpress or Temu. Hopefully? 😭

Well, I'd assume it is because Japanese market is just better for them. Look at the US market and tell me: Is there one online game that doesn't get hate for literally anything they do? Blizzard literally can't even make a skin without making someone mad for no reason. I get it that Blizzard does a lot of shady stuff but still.

Should I remind you that most of Blizzard merch is mostly exclusive for americans, and is very hard to get in many regions? So it's kind of hypocritical for you to complain.

Almost all games made in countries like Japan, Korea, etc. always have merch exclusive to their country and when there is merch that is sent out to other countries it's always still sold in that region. I don't think it's hypocritical to expect the same in return but sadly that's not the case. Japan almost always gets exclusive stuff not sold anywhere else in the world.

@@dementeddingo321 I'm from Kazakhstan, and I can't buy anything from an official merch store because it simply doesn't have our region. The only way to buy something from an official source, would be to use third-party services which will order the merch in America, and then send it to you, which is two-three times more expensive. And people from Russia can't even do in-game purchases, simply because of their nationality

@@almas4663 One. I'm not American. Two. You entirely miss the premise. The main concern is that places like Japan always get exclusives. While, yes, America gets a lot of the merch that other places don't. That is because its an *American* game made by an American company based in America. It's the same for many games made across the world. While yes, there are a lot of merch in America for people to buy. However, this is unique to those things. Unique art style, look and most of the stuff made in America usually doesn't have this level of quality and attention to it. It feels stupid for a company based in a specific location to exclude the people OF that location from buying their merch. Lastly, Russia being unable to do in game purchases is simply because of their country not because Blizzard is excluding them due to their nationality. But even so Russia is having some controversy at the moment so I would understand why.
