I am going to tell you guys something. My girlfriend left me 6 months ago and I was/am in a bad place. I am struggling with the fact that she won’t come back. I have my faifth in Jesus Christ and that has helped me immensely. I found my passion in suits. I learned so much from Hugo and truly fell in love with sartorial artisanship. Hugo answers me sometimes on Instagram. Recently, I purchased a used Corneliani suit and Hugo told me it might potentially be a fused suit. Thanks for that Hugo. I just want to let you guys know that I truly appreciate this channel and the love that goes into it. Everything you do is done with professionalism and attention to detail that is backed by actual knowledge. I am proud to have found my second passion (first is the music). I just have to remember myself everyday that I am a servant first and no suit should give me the feeling of being better that anyone else. Rather it should give me the confidence to stand for the values that make everyone love each other more. Spread love and do it with style. Love you Hugo and your wife. Love all of y’all. And to everybody that has read until this point: May all your wishes come true. Amen 🙏🏻

Bless you Hugo. What a fascinating journey you are recounting. As a long time wearer of bespoke, I commissioned my first two velvet jackets aged 42, in navy and elephant grey, on a whim. I wore them over Christmas in my home town slightly unsure if Id be ridiculed as foppish - nothing of the sort! The ladies kept feeling the fabric and cooing their approval and the chaps were nodding their approval. My only regret is that I didn’t get these made years earlier! I cannot wait for your next instalment. I salute your elegance and passion good sir!

I think it would be nightmare for an interviewer to interview Hugo! Just imagine, a man who knows the ropes of sartorial world and you don't know as much as him and are worried about his judgement on your clothing!

Ho I don't think so. Elegance is also the ability not to judge others. Best! Hugo

A gentleman knows humility. Hugo's knowledge could be the only "obstacle" to a "layman" in menswear.

Dear Brian, on this video I'm wearing a Laurent Ferrier Galet Square Tourbillon double spiral. Hugo

I wonder if you'd do a video on the tall man's style. I'm 6'6" I have mainly concentrated on great shoes, everything else seems to be too showy for me.

That's a good idea, even if you can already find some great advices in Alain Flusser's "Dressing the Man" book. Cheers, Hugo

Great episode as always. Personally, i preferred the suits in the previous episode but that is only my own taste. By the way, your double breasted suits are amazing.
