I've seen a seemingly identical set branded as From instead of HUK you think they are the same thing functionality wise?
@cjcrowley6 жыл бұрын
I have the exact same set, but I am having NO SUCCESS opening any locks with it. Either you are far better at this technique than me, or mine does not work. I have spent several hours trying this on 4 locks now and not a single successful case. Is there some special trick that I am missing?

I'm having this problem now, I have a sentry safe and it's difficult to push the huk tool in let alone turn it. I turn it but it's not pushing the pin and hurt my hands.

Yeah, I also have the same one. I've been able to open some locks, but not others. It seems to be a hit and miss. I do believe it all has to do with the tension. Some locks (tubular) have different pressured pins, so you need to adjust your pick accordingly..I think

did you figure out how to put the tension pins in? couldn't mine to fit
@AllWeatherTruckin9 жыл бұрын
+JB Hi JB, yes i did, what you need to do is pull back the pin opposite to the tension pin hole. this will open up the allen head grub screw. loosen that out and then you can push the pins in then re tighten the grub screw, If you have any issues let me know and i will be more than happy to make a how to video.

Is it even possible to pick an Ace II since the pins require different amounts of tension? Another issue with this particular safe of mine... is that I had to apply some force even when I still had the key, pushing in on the door and almost lifting upward.. so frustrating. Yes, I've attempted single pin picking and am simply having the same problem, and I cannot find the right tension wrench to use... please help.

did you remember to fit the tension bars in the tools? I successfully picked 4 or 5 locks before I remembered to fit them...
@kylebaxter34568 жыл бұрын
whats the point of the pin that you put in and secure in? I've seen other videos with this same kit and they didn't seem to have to put that pin in there.
@kylebaxter34568 жыл бұрын
any reply on this? Is it necessary to have that pin in there for it to work?
@AllWeatherTruckin8 жыл бұрын
+kyle baxter you can successfully pick locks without the pin. But it's easier with it fitted

Great demo and frighting easy opening of the lock. I learned that there are tubular locks with springs of different strength. This prevents the self-impressioning attacks. But I don't know how wide-spread these are. Again, nice video and demo - thanks.

I just recieved the same kit but mine came defective. No indexing pin holes drilled in the picks as well as no pins for them. Trying to contact them now to rectify the situation.

there are two versions Ive found. One with and one without indexing pins.

very nice review I've ordered some lock picking stuff from bangood still not arrived how long did it take you?
@AllWeatherTruckin9 жыл бұрын
from what I have learnt it depends on if it's coming from the UK warehouse or China direct. I have had things take only 2 days and others take up to 3 weeks. you should be able to track your order online if i remember correctly.

+LockPickIt what is the most common size of tubular locks in u.K.?
@AllWeatherTruckin9 жыл бұрын
+Javid Patel I would say 7.8mm but I also have a handful of 7mm ones. my toolbox is 7mm for example. I would recommend getting the full set. there is a link in the description for the kit. I would also like to add that the tension bars do not come installed when you buy them. they are simple to fit. but you can even open locks without them installed (they are not installed in this video)

Nice review. I have same kit. It works on cheaper tubular lock (and exclusively 7-pins). More elaborate tubular locks (10 pins or more secure - different spring tension) have to be SPP-ed.

I could not get my pick to work. I tried a bunch of different things to adjust the pic. I found that by adding one more elastic band, it gave it enough tension to be able to pick a tubular lock that I had. without the extra tension elastic band it did not work. so if you're having problems and your pick does not work, add another elastic band. Works for me
