I would love to see a video on how everything that women do and like is demonized or made fun of. I mention this after seeing a woman say that term "lesbian" makes her feel gross and uncomfortable and that she prefers the word "gay"....okay, it's Jojo Siwa. Personally, I find both words to mean the same thing to me (emotionally--I am aware that they technically mean two different things). This doesn't just happen with the word lesbian, though. Look at how the word "b!tch" is used toward women in a derogatory manner, but "stud" is endearing (I am aware that some lesbians use this term for themselves. However, my point still stands). Also, everything that teenage girls like (whether "masculine" or "feminine" (quotations cuz ew gender roles)) are made of fun of or seen as frivolous, but teenage boys are given a lot more grace when it comes to participating in hobbies that they enjoy. Just some food for thought, I'm just spit balling over here. ~ A bisexual who's pretty sure she's just a lesbian :)

I hate it when people say that lesbian is a dirty word because they let the patriarchy sully a word centering around female desire for each other with the exclusion of men into just another fetish for men(because society punished women for not wanting to revolve their lives around men and says that we only exist to be degraded by them). Especially as a public figure. She should know better.

There is a chance that what timothee said is true so idk if it's okay to use Melanie as an example. I understand what you're trying to say though, straight women love to isolate the queer women around them. I remember people would judge and give me shit in the middle school locker rooms for existing lol. I wasn't even out yet smh

Weren't the allegations disproven years ago? Besides, I have her here as an example because she seemed very "clout chase" at the time. Like she would use Mel for all her resources, Mel took her in- she even sung at her shows... then it came out that she was allegedly Graped shortly after they had a fallout. Something similar happened with me and this het girl. I talk a bit about it in my e-stalker video. But basically she drained me of my resources, I took her in. She would make passive aggressive comments like this and block my opportunities. When I finally stud up for my self she sought vengeance and spread extremely false rumors ab me all over the town I used to live in. Their story should absolutely be here because it is a common theme in these sorts of dynamics and should very well be spoken about.
@PeachesNCream4447 ай бұрын
@@dorothydiabetes so your personal history is coloring your view on their dynamic? We have no way of knowing what really happened between them, timothee isn't the only one who had something negative to say about the way that melanie interacts with people. The date timothee mentioned was disproven but that doesn't make the allegations are completely false. Especially since melanie confirms that something happened between them & apologized to her fans only. (in the same manner almost word for word that guilty people do when they want to keep their fan base & save face). Every reason to prove it false is the same reason it could be true, we aren't them so we'll never know. I'm personally just not comfortable with making the assumption that it's false BC I like the person being accused yk.. There's no correct way to be a victim & people were picking timothee apart on every level to dismiss what she said. Since we don't know for sure, it's gross to paint it in a certain light like we do know for sure that Mel was framed. We don't. There is room for doubt so don't be blinded by parasocial attachment. I'm all for protecting queer women but not at the expense of others. We have to hold the straights accountable & ourselves as well or we'll be doing the same thing the straights do. Pointing fingers just cause. You're entitled to feel how you want personally but if we're going to talk about these things generally online you have to give context & in Mel's case we have no context/proof leaning either way. The allegations were never proven/disproven. This is a serious matter & should be handled as such bc it's a case of abuse.

@imthebossmermaid36483 ай бұрын
@lucetteriellabritton20 Nope, Tim didn’t lie, Melanie fans just attacked her for calling their favorite singer a rapist and bullied her into leaving the internet after fabricating false rumors that she lied without proof. Timothy never backed away from her stance and always insisted that she was raped by Melanie Martinez. Also, Melanie was also accused of rape by another woman named Madeleine Carina, who was pressured into sex with Melanie until she consented(which I shouldn’t have to say is rape by coercion) and backed Timothy’s stance. Using Melanie and Tim as the thumbnail for this video was a terrible, bad choice.

I don't understand what you're trying to say. It seems like an unscripted rant, but I mean if you gotta vent you gotta vent I don't get why heterosexual women would feel threatened by a lesbian femme getting her boyfriend's attention when all 3 people know that she's not interested in him and there's no chance he's getting with her
@imthebossmermaid36483 ай бұрын
You underestimate how entitled straight men feel towards femme lesbians and any woman they find attractive and feel that they “deserve” whether the woman wants them or not lol, and you also understand how common it is for femme lesbians to be erased and for people to assume that they are attracted to men because they are feminine, or even simply because they don’t treat men with constant, active disdain.
