So this may be seen as somewhat nitpicky, but in your newscast, you referred to Tesla service centers as dealerships. Correction, Tesla does not have traditional dealerships. They have stores where they display their vehicles, but they’re not for sale, and there are no sales associates assigned to these stores, and in other areas where Tesla has service centers, they also have display areas where they showcase their cars, but again you cannot buy one, and there are no sales associates located there, because the only way you can buy a Tesla is through their app or their website, as Tesla does not employ Teams of sales people in order to sell their cars, neither do they advertise using traditional advertisers. So you’re not going to see high profile celebrities in commercials like you see with legacy auto manufacturers, and so Tesla is different in that way, and that they don’t follow the traditional paths of doing business, and so having said that, other than the fact that the service center parking lot was not large enough to accommodate the growing inventory of cars, no one knows how long those vehicles are going to be parked there, and isn’t that the question that everyone really needed an answer to?

@@lcwpg Doesn't matter if all FSD systems are primitive, and Tesla is the best of the lot. FSD *does* *not* *work* as Elon promised 8 years ago. It is NOT self-driving. Supervised driving is not what people paid for.

@@lcwpg Latest version of FSD is *nowhere* near perfect. There are 40 videos on KZbin that review FSD v12, and human interventions are all over the place. FSD is a simple minded joke. Nothing like a human driver.

Its an overflow lot for sold cars. Tesla only has 2 car factories in the US so all cars get transported from rail to lots and overflow, then loaded on semi and hauled to the showroom or service center for pickup. They do this because NEWS flash... they don't have dealerships and therefore dealer lots.

But the problems putting out (and KEEPING out) an EV fire, and the toxic cloud they emit in a fire is 1000x worse than ICE fires. I'm sure you know that as well.

Just saw another new Model Y in my neighborhood yesterday with a Texas temp tag. I've had my MYLR for 4 months and haven't regretted it once. Every drive is better than the one before it, especially after the 2024.14.8 update. I updated to 2024.14.9 just last night...probably some tweaks of the .8 update. 2024.14.x increased the "speedometer" font, changed to little black turn signal arrows in green circles to larger green arrows without a circle, turn signals cancel after a manual lane change, more vehicles along with red taillights are on screen, traffic can be shown full screen, there's a new audible warning for speed cameras, the trunk (hatch) can open automatically by standing behind the vehicle, the trunk can pause and continue to open or reverse to close, alternate routes are easier to select, there's a new timeline for the navigation route, new audio controls are easier to access, including the equalizer, windshield wiper speed can now be controlled on the left steering wheel scroll knob...and more and more. It's like trading-up to a new vehicle with each major and some minor OTA (over-the-air...in my garage or even at my ophthalmologist while I'm reading little letters on the wall) updates.

It’s not 2018 now. Back then Tesla had the whole EV market except for a few models like the Nissan Leaf. Too much competition now and Tesla is no longer an exclusive status symbol. Buyers of EVs are going with established car manufacturers that have been in business for 100+ years. The market for EVs looks like it has reached the end point. Despite the government pushing them, people who have not already gotten one do not want to buy one at all for practical reasons or just a personal preference.

Lot rot very bad for battery vehicle. Vehicle continue to draw down on battery until battery discharged. If battery left discharged for months battery bottom out below preset voltage to initiate recharge. None recoverable battery pack.

I used to work logistics at Tesla, and I can tell you that they just can not get it done. I tried my very hardiest to get them to change to system because it just was not viable. The way they handle, process and unload cars off of trucks is a complete mad house. parking lots filled with cars that are not even ready to go out to there owners for another month. which takes about valuable space for cars are are ready to go out in the next week. I remember all the overtimes working and playing terries just trying to get all these cars trying to fit into a single lot, without overflowing. Thats when I realized to get out, because upper management is just not going to listen. especially not going to want to listen to someone levels below them. I love this company with all my heart and own a few of the cars myself and solar as well as power wall.
