I agree with this. I always try to explain this to people, it shouldn't be thought of as "the person would have won if they didn't SD," rather "The person made a mistake by SDing, they should not have done that" The same way how if somebody rolled too much and became predictable, you'd say "The person made a mistake by rolling too much, they should not have done that." You're not gonna say "The person would have won if they hadn't rolled too much."

Crackle I can see where you're coming from. But in my opinion, Jigglypuff isn't that bad. Although she is light and dies easily, that also works for her. She's hard to combo. And her multiple jumps give her the ability to get early kills with b-air or f-air edgeguards, especially against Marth, Falcon, and spacies. She has positive matchups against Peach, Sheik, and most low-tiers and mid-tiers. And even before HungryBox came to the scene, Mang0 did really well with Jigglypuff. And even before him, there was the King to rep Jiggs.

that was honestly so beautiful. she. I first joined the melee scene 2 years ago I loved mang0 and hated hbox with a passion. but as time flew things, people, and opinions changed. hbox's performance at evo this year made me see something. as time flew I grown more to dislike mang0s overzealous overconfident and even sometimes cocky attitude. I've learned to love hbox, not just as a player but as a person, someone who struggles, and someone who plays with their heart and mind as one. The way how he outplayed nearly all of his rivals and ALMOST got 1st at evo for the third time in a row. hbox may not have one first, but he won first place in my heart. I love that guy

I really wanted H-Box to win EVO 2015 but Armada really put a lot of work in and deserved first just as much if not more. Now, onto the H-Box playstyle. I can understand people being angry at ledge camping considering it is a defensive playstyle. It does apply mental pressure on the opponent (especially Mang0) but in terms of camping it isn't that much different from Fox laser camping. The difference obviously is that lasers can inflict damage and that's just an advantage Fox has over Puff.

DrSolarbear mango got bodied by Plup then lost a game to hbox. He put himself in the position to choke on tech skill and SD on his last game at EVO. Hbox also choked on edge guards and evened the game 2 stocks each. Mango lost fair and square. You cant win EVO by being a choke artist and SDing. Thats what separates 2nd place from 5th

Hungrybox is my favorite smasher, he seems to be a nice guy and he uses a character that can barely combo or stand up against others. Most people only play 5 of the 8 top tiers, those being Fox, Falco, Marth, Sheik and C.Falcon, just because they want to win. H-Box just does what he does best, being the most badass Puff out there.

To all of you people saying that H-Box sucks because he just camps the whole game, why don't you try to go in on fox with jiggs? if the fox player is as experienced with the match up as Mang0, Leffen, M2k, or Armada, then there's no way to play aggressively all the time. you need to read the opponent's patterns, and choose the proper moment to strike.
