They've covered many of the same cases Mike has here, for example Mark Twitchell. Their series on the BTK killer is very very good, and my personal favourite is the creepypasta episode, "then who was phone" Keep in mind it's actually a podcast, but most episodes can be found on the KZbin channel LPOTL (no idea if it's their official one lmao). Florida is a messy place, but they also make all arrest records public, so you do hear about all the crazy crimes people are arrested for. I'm sure every state and country has some insane criminals running about but you don't hear about it, get the names of those people and pictures to go with it. However, Canada is still top ranking for me. We're a large country by area, but only have under 30 million total poluation. I live in a place called Labrador, which is about as big as the state of California with a population of about 25,000 people. California has a total population about equal to the entirety of Canada, so it stands out even more when you hear about such horrific crimes being committed here.

I think Chrystal brought a lot of this on to herself. Flying around having affairs while married with two children is asking for trouble. Steve appears to have been a very loving caring husband and father and Chrystal seems to be the kind of woman who uses men and telling someone basically you are not good in bed as you return from spending the night with your new lover is not exactly tactful! LOL Also sharing a home with your ex-husband, whom you know took the divorce very hard and was still wearing his wedding right was downright stupid. It was a bomb ready to blow. Whatever her problems were, she seems to have enjoyed chaos and drama. Chrystal's behaviour contributed to this killing.

A perfect example of why I get so annoyed at people asking if the suspect took a polygraph. They are not worth shit. Both of them failed. Sadly investigators use these stupid tests to clear suspects or focus solely on them. They shouldn't even be allowed as an investigative tool. They measure if a person gets nervous or not. I would fail everytime if I was in a an interrogation room being accused of murder. I have a tendency to get overly emotional when someone accuses me of something I didn't do. I would fail miserably if I was close to a victim and and being accused. Actually I get angry. Which would cause a definite spike in the stupid test.

More true and devastating then most come to know. Unfortunately my Uncle was convicted for murder, the jury said it was "the polygraph that took away their 'reasonable doubt.'" He was locked up for YEARS before he got his freedom.....themurderer was eventually confessed. My Uncle wasn't released for an additional 3 years AFTER the truth was known because the D.A. didn't want to concede. He wasn't awarded in a lawsuit, didn't receive an apology or even have his record completely esponged (still shows the arrest) and spent the rest of his life (until his passing....he was in a hotel in another state, after spending the morning AND afternoon in hearings) trying to ensure that EVERY state wouldn't be allowed to use polygraphs to suede a jury. He's a hero in and of his own right and was part of a movement that helped change the system in such a small but impactful way. Thank you for this comment...it's a comfort to know that someone sees the truth and advocates in their own way.

@ Joanna Hampton.....agreed. I am by no means celebrating her death, but she was being an asshole and it drove him mad. You don’t flaunt your affairs in this guy’s face, while still under the same roof. She definitely didn’t handle this in an eloquent manner and she paid the ultimate price.

I do hope you're feeling well, whether it be health wise or whatever. I'll still be here for the new vids! Love you channel so much! In fact, don't know why I haven't binged earlier. Doesn't matter. I’m a psych nurse that lives in mass. Please do a video on the documentary “Titicut Follies” it was filmed in 1967, in Massachusetts, at Bridgewater state prison for the criminally insane. During our orientation at Worcester state hospital, we were shown this documentary. It was to show us the absolute terror, inhumane treatment, as well as the skewed view that many had on the mentally ill. The documentary is truly harrowing.

How is it a miracle that she lasted that long and that start in life is a short life? It can be, it can end in drug addiction and a criminal life but for huge numbers it doesn't. Does a shit start in life really mean it's a miracle if you don't die young? A miracle she lasted that long? Weird. She made it that long because she just lived her life and the only thing that ended it was being frickin murdered by a jealous loon. That can happen whether you had a good or bad childhood it's just effing bad luck that her ex hubby was garbage.

In what way? She ran around toying with people’s emotions and sleeping with anything that had a pulse and then embarrassed that loser so bad he ended her. Hurt people hurt people and she hurt the wrong guy. She didn’t deserve to die, but don’t put her on a pedestal lmao. Her behavior lead to her demise.

Survival Rules During Separation 1- Don’t remain living under the same roof with your soon ex to be. So don’t start the separation until you have a place to go and enough money to survive a couple of months after the separation. 2- If you are legally married, DON’T start dating until the divorce is totally completed. Dating before the completion is considered cheating (like it or not). 3- Is safer and healthy to wait at least a couple of months before dating again. 4- Keep your new dating low profile for a while.

Not always. 1-did that. 2-did that. 3-nope. 4-nope. Married for 20 years now to the guy I met while still in joint house. Relationship with ex - pretty non-existent but we have no kids. Would be friendly if we ran into each other. We both were done with marriage. All of these rules aren’t really real rules. Murder has happened with couples where they were together and the victim thought things were fine. Where victim did everything you said above. Happened in every circumstance you can think of between people. There are no rules except maybe stay away from people who seem really unstable. But then again there are people walking around today that were involved with unstable people. It is almost like after watching a ton of these that you can’t really tell who is going to murder you. Who is just going to make your life hell. I would say odds are greater with someone in your life that is obviously violent and controlling but even then I think better to get away because that is a miserable way to live.

I just want to say that having been through Harvey, I have never been more proud of my city when Houstonians came together to help each other in the aftermath. Harvey was devastating but the way neighbors helped each other - and total strangers - was inspiring. Steven took advantage of the chaos in an evil way, while the rest of us were coming to one another’s aid. Tonight, exactly three years later, we’re preparing for the possibility of Hurricane Laura. To keep calm, I’m bingeing Mike’s videos ... again. I wish Crystal didn’t have to be a subject of such a video, but it keeps her memory alive. Anyway, thanks, man! Wish us all luck! ⛈🍀 The coast from here through Louisiana needs it!

Yeah but in this situation she lived WITH him whilst in the new relationship. That is dangerous no matter what sex you are. She had affairs whilst they were married, then asked for a divorce, then moved onto another relationship whilst living under the same roof. I don't know anyone - male or female - who'd live with that due to the danger involved.

You, sir, don't seem to grasp this fact: love is not about control. If someone does not love me with her own free will, then it is not love. If someone cheats on you, then she freely chooses another path. If I kill her in response, it would seem I actually hated her.
