For no one who was wondering, I think his one tattoo that read, "spur dun verwustung" that they google translated into "trace of devastation," was either misread by authorities or misspelled by the artist. If the tattoo read "spur der verwüstung" it would mean "trail/wake of devastation" which, at least to me, makes a little more sense. As I said, nobody asked, but there you go.

Thank you for covering this case correctly. I live about 10 minutes away from valley springs/San Andreas , where these shitbags are from. I worked for cindys dad John , lovely man and a great family. They paid cindys car payment and insurance for close to a year thinking when she came home she’d need her car and her credit ... still to this day the porch light is on for her and any other lost daughters out there!

@@Prismet Hmm... With an attitude like that, is there any question why we can't get any police held accountable? Or even get them to do their job? We pay their salaries. They're public servants, not employees. We deserve better, or at least I keep telling myself that...

@@birdmann9197 You are confounding recognizing someone as "normal" with "accountable". Just because you are not perfect doesn't mean you can't be held accountable. On the other hand, if an investigator is not negligent, he should not be penalized for not solving every case perfectly as such a standard is impossible anyways.

I don't think Loren was smart enough to be able to describe the locations, or remember them over the years. He probably would've if he could've but you can tell by his interviews he wasn't all there and was really in over his head. Typical of the rare cases of serial killer duos. One's the boss, the other's his little assistant. Boss always makes the assistant take part in the "fun stuff" so he can hold it over him, but it's really follow-the-leader all he way.

I don’t think she was blaming the drug. I get what she meant. This drug makes people numb, angry, and violent after prolonged use and sometimes after just one use. I’m assuming the original poster probably had issues with said drug. No disrespect there. I’m a recovering addict myself with nearly 12 years clean. However speed was never my thing. Mine was opiates. I’ve worked with several “tweakers” and knew some prior to working with them. One in particular comes to mind that was nowhere near the person they became after this drug. This guy was a football player who excelled at everything including women lol. Now he is completely gone. Eyes wide all the time with that spaced out look. I don’t blame the drug here nor in any murder. I blame the shit bags who decided to kill. Drugs just make them more vile and less remorseful for certain. Sad sad world.

I provided the legal definition of the evidence in the case as early as June, one month after Jennifer was killed. Sadly, it took the state until early January to issue arrest warrants citing the legal definition of the evidence. I wish they would have acted sooner, and I wish they would have treated his risk level with tighter authority than they did. I sorrowfully blame the state of Connecticut for a miscarriage of justice. How aggravating that there was some sort of police cover-up in this. Why? I mean, what the heck?! As if it's not bad enough your child is missing all these years, then the police have to mangle the investigation of where she's buried, then turn around and hide their mistakes, removing their names from the database. How does that go on in this day and age?! I do hope the families have achieved some peace. And I hope that POS will grow a conscience and tell where all the bodies are buried. (You know there are more.) Mike, your storytelling ability is spell-binding. I always feel as if I am right there with you, and when the video comes to an end, I always feel like you've only been talking for five minutes. You're really something!

At times I get frustrated waiting for a few days for a new video from you, Mike. But the wait is always worth it. You research these cases thoroughly and present them in an organized, detailed and sometimes amusing manner, building up the suspense in a well-paced narrative. That they are rarely over 30 minutes long keeps me engaged in the story. I'm subscribed to several other true crime channels and yours are consistently the very best. Keep 'em coming and you'll have a lifelong subscriber! 💖👍💯

Some amazing "prisoner's dilemma" action going on here in these interrogations. Well, sort of, anyway. Good stuff, Mike!

I remember the turning point in life for myself, I was always getting pulled in by the cops charged with this and that but I was always very good at reading people and could talk myself out of any charges laid against me by giving faultless interviews. Then one day when I had a young wife and child I was again arrested on some relatively minor charge, I knew this was just a ruse to get me talking about something else so whilst in the cells I did my usual and mentally readied myself for my interview. I was taken to an interview room and the investigator walked in and recognised me, he went through all the normal start points then said “Your not gonna tell me anything, I might aswell let you go” Which he did do. I walked out the back of the police station and the same investigator was waiting for me . He showed me a picture of my wife and child and told me this “ I want you to take note of what you’ve got, I know that your wife is fiercely loyal to you, I know she will do prison for you, and let me tell you that is some sort of loyalty, but look at yr baby boy , are you going to bring him up to also do prison for you or are you going to give your son a real life, cos let me tell you this I am not gonna sit back and watch you ruin his life, the next time we meet I will either be sending you to prison for a very long time or shaking your hand” This speech cut to my very core, I got a job next day and never looked back .

“Charged with this and that” was this murder and that rape? Bc this is a very odd comment on this story.

Great video!! I'm from Stockton and hearing that San Joaquin County Might have had something shady to do with files being deleted made me think of something that happened that would probably make a good video.... A few years back ago in Stockton There was a mental institution that got shut down And most of the patients who didn't have families were released on the streets, A couple years after that they re open up the building as an adult school and started doing Excavator work, While they were working they came across a mass grave of 30 people, I found out about this around 2006 the same time I found out about the speed freak killers....

Jeez, Mike. Are your eyes getting bluer every episode, or am I drunk? I look forward to your show, mate. I'm glad you don't feign a sad voice/face - it makes you very easy to watch, like an old pal telling a campfire story. Only interspersed with disturbing interview footage. "Head bashed to shit..." That's why Mike is hitting the top
