It was definitely Hunter. That instability was hormones from the early stages of the pregnancy. Even from a psychological profile, while Jan had a pathological need for control, she seemed to cede control over to Hunter since he seemed like one of the few times in the show she showed genuine affection without the jaw clinching effort you normally see. I think she knew Hunter was only 17 and she wanted to get caught. I mean, she played the evidence in front of a whole room of people, but then she realized she was pregnant. She couldn’t go back to Hunter and she couldn’t just make up a guy. So she went back to Michael because she knew he would take her back. She made up the sperm donor story and was ok with it until Kevin blew her story apart by being a frequent donor. Her ego almost makes her tell the truth right there. She’d rather go to jail than have people believe Kevin could be the father, even in theory.

I realized the Hunter thing my first watchthrough (I think it’s intended to be kinda obvious), but this rundown was so concise, so well edited, and brought up tons of little things like “leaving the office for hours and always saying you’re seeing your sister in Scottsdale” that blew my mind cause I never made the connection on those tidbits. But there is SO MUCH extra footage/audio here, like where did Pam’s “Jim and me think Jan had an affair with her assistant Hunter” come from?
