Man, you know there's 50s in there. You're young enough you could break your own record 5 times. You can't quit now. Get that damn stupid record. Do it. They're there, that deep spot by the bridge. You have it all figured out already. Those tubes, jigging, you got this. You better get that record.

@@ginto1995no their fins go red when they’re stressed. That’s why people have Muskie reviving tanks in their boats. They flush oxygen through the tank until the fins loose their redness and then they release them.

@chrisfd9106Ай бұрын
Jon, in answer to your question as to why the Muskie’s fins turn red it’s due to the stress of being caught. It’s blood pooling in the fins. If it was during spawning season it would likely be due to mating. Awesome fish and cool boat! Love the vids.

Thank you for leave for releasing them fish john.. grant that was pretty cool the camera angle down in the water with that muskie.. I was going to recommend John have you eat four or five maybe six ghost peppers, and then for you to drink a gallon of instant mimosas made out of that river water in track you behind the boat😂 you did say the more strange the more we're the more unusual way you fish for the musky the better your chances of catching them right???? I pretty much guarantee you no one's doing five or six ghost peppers with instant mimosas from Maine River water.. 🤙👏🤑💯

Awesome catches! Musky grind is absolutely real. You guys did awesome for a 6 day trip. I've been on plenty on trips to catch zero fish. From my knowledge on musky when the fins start to turn red like that the fish is showing signs of major distress. Not saying you were doing anything wrong. Some fish do it very easily and some do not do it at all. These fish are a different breed 😂 again amazing fish for one hell of a trip!

Musky fins turn orange-ish red as a sign of stress. If you had a revival tank like some of the crazy guides in MN, WI, and Canada and you'd be able to see their fins change back as they recover, pike have the same stress indicator.

musky fishing seems like striper fishing for me, years of fishing with my dad as a kid, never being able to actually catch one but I will always remember the moment him and I were fishing when I caught one, and will never forget catching a good sized one this summer.
