Jon you should try the tag end challenge. Start with like a 2 inch tag end on your bait and every time you catch one double the tag end length. Settle the debate and see if it actually matters

The boat venture with FFS should not count. All of the other casting locations, you were fishing based on reading the water, current, cover and structure. You eliminated all of that by utilizing the FFS. Riding out to a general spot, trolling around while looking for the fish on your graph, then casting directly to them. That takes the speculation aspect away. Solid bass, regardless. It was just more impressive to see you catch the smallies and pike on your 2nd, 3rd or 4th blind cast. Really creative content up until the FFS. Keep it going though.... Love the concept. 👍

I commend you for a pretty hard challenge. I would use a tiny jig head with a 1 inch gulp alive minnow. I've caught everything from 4 inch gills to a 28 inch walleye on em. I would also use a weighted slip float with 4 lb. Line so I could cast a mile

Although….. what about trolling? You could cast the lure out once, retrieve it and if you don’t get a fish, let out some line while it is still in the water and troll it across the lake for as long as you want to.
