10:07 I can't thank you enough for this video! I bought an EM332 today which has the same action & I just couldn't figure out how to take the bolt apart!

I just got a new old stock EM322, the one that has the two spare mags held in the butt stock. I wish I had a darker stock like most I see, mine is that ugly orange yellow. It's going to get refinished. Mine has the big gap in the wood for the bolt, but the bolt lays down right against it. My 3 magazines are numbered 1 thru 3 and also have the last 3 numbers of the serial engraved on them.

I bought one o the last ones imported. It loved the light, fast hollow points.

the norc jw-25a (the kkw mini mauser, cz454 copy) gives the accuracy you seek. 1 moa with mini mags (.5" at 50y) other tested ammo is stingers (2moa) quiet (3moa) and federal bulk champion (2moa). it also has a milled dovetail in the receiver to easily mount a scope (since the iron sights are crude). for

Those mini 98K Mausers are so COOL. They made 2 models the long barrel and the 33/40 style CARBINE which is the NEATER ONE.😮😅 WHICH ONE IS YOURS? THEY HAVE GOTTEN QUITE EXPENSIVE NOT because there weren't many imported before the Clinton BAN. That's a shame because I can see not importing MILITARY ARMS BUT 22lr rifles and pistols "GIVE ME A BREAK".😱😉👍😃 I would like to have one and make a mini Mauser SNIPER RIFLE out of it but I saw one about 3 months ago and the dealer wanted $579.99 for it, in LNIB condition.😵💫😖😩😥😮💨

This is a great video. I have checked out the details on your website. Your video and 314299 shooting channel were very enjoyable to watch. Have you thought about doing a follow up review. Maybe some range footage to show that groupings it can get? I will have my NS522 next month.
@Huntinggearguy6 жыл бұрын
I probably should. I've had some really good luck with SK Standard and am getting very consistent 0.35" groups at 50 yards, if you're on Instagram or Facebook, I post some updates there as well as on my website.
@sebastianwright40415 жыл бұрын
I will check your Facebook page as well but a good video update maybe showing another disassembly/reassembly/any work you have done on it mixed with some range footage I think others would appreciate if you have time. Of the few videos on KZbin on the rifle yours is the best.

You know, I bought my rifle from Canada Ammo too, they are great folks to deal with . I've had mine for quite some time now, but have yet to take it out to the range to fire it. ( I don't know why) I put on a 2-7x32 AIM Scope ( China) with illuminated reticle which I bought from Amazon.ca and according to bore sighting, this 'should' be an accurate rifle. Did I hear or read somewhere that the barrel too is made by Anshutz ? If not, it looks like it it was. The rifle is a 'heavy little bugger' to be sure, mine weights in at 7.89 pounds with the scope mounted. I too, am going to make the stock/barrel a free float fit. As the bull type barrel is approx. 21 inches long , I think it will be a nice target rifle. Thanks for your review, and on Tuesday coming ( Sept. 8/15 ) I'll be taking mine to the range and see how it works. Cheers.

Well actually since last year my dealing's with Canada Ammo have come to a complete halt too. It's a real pity that upper management does not seem to be aware of what is happening at the customer 'complaints' level. I too have a story that is too long to go into here, but suffice to say that it was started by an employee on-line, who would NOT answer my questions caused by their 'most lousy ' web site ordering section. The fact that this company has decided to not accept phone orders and answer questions regarding an order, is my main stumbling block. By the way, I too, had received a rifle with a bullet lodged half way down the barrel, i.e. squib load . Thank god I checked the rifle before firing it.

You've done the right thing in contacting the CFO, although he's only the ' head bean counter'. The General Sales Manager should have been advised of this problem too.

Thanks for the sweet vid, I'm waiting for mine to get delivered. If you don't mind terribly, could you hit the record button when you do the mods. I'm thinking the same way you are and hope to mod this puppy as much as i can safely.

Already hogged the barrel channel out a bit. I'm doing those with pictures+text because otherwise I'm liable to get sawdust and epoxy on my camera if I video. Uber article with mods as I go along: www.huntinggearguy.com/rifle-reviews/norinco-ns522-review-uber-article/

My wifes uncle bought me a used JW-25 right before he died. He wanted to keep hunting with me after his death :( Anyway I thought man this thing can't shoot. Well was I ever wrong it is by far the best shooting .22 I have ever had or shot and I love it. I would buy Norinco if I could, Even though in my heart I wanna buy USA or Canadian made firearms.

I'm JEALOUS that you got yours for so CHEAP. I got one of the early American ones with the NICER BETTER FITTING STOCK and I didn't have to clean a bunch of oil off the rifle. I've only have shot it at indoor range with a maximum distance of 25yrds, that's all I have access to for the time being. It makes one hole with most ammo at that range. I want to go to a out door range of 100 yds but it's about 80 miles one way so I want to get a couple friends to go so we can split the gas cost. I also want to make at a half a day trip to shot a few more toys I have like a CZ 527 carbine in 7.62X39 (single set trigger) and 2 ARs, one 5.56 and 9mm along with a couple more.😮😊😉👍

I've done a pile of mods to mine all documented on my article that's linked in the description. Used it to shoot a Mapleseed (Appleseed equivalent) and shot pretty well.

Rob W. 👍🏼 Good point, Rob, although I’m disappointed by Savage's present-day overuse of plastic stocks, magazines, et cetera. Like you, I’m Canadian and try to support our Country’s products, but not at the expense of quality. For the most part, Savage has become synonymous with, (I hate to use this word), cheap. I’m not referring to the affordability of one of their firearms-great stuff if one wants a plastic plinker. They still produce a couple of nice rifles, but they used to 'partner' with-you know this-Anschütz & other highly regarded Manufacturers. I’m sure you have some nice examples of Savage rifles, (I’ve got a beautiful BSEV in 22 WMR that came from the factory in a Boyd’s stock), but that’s a rarity nowadays. I like and respect your values. I wish our last large-scale manufacturer had maintained higher standards.
@frufru00715 жыл бұрын
aser mostafa Hi there, I am not asking this to offend you whatsoever, but what’s your reply got to do with Rob W.'s comment? I’m a proud Canadian, and abhor any violence involving children, (especially if firearms are involved), but what’s that got to do with buying Savage?

Someone should try to get shipments of guns from Norinco to Canada and legally import them to America for not to much of an inflated price

No offence dude....I'm all for more shooters getting into the sport, but I only ever bought one norinco, my first rifle, why support the Chinese, when we Canadians have a gold mine in terms of Savage's Lakefield Rimfire facility.......Norinco SUCKS!!!!!!!
@111dogon55510 жыл бұрын
norinco offers a lot of really decent firearms for a good price. I have a norinco 1911 with ~1000 rounds through it; no jams, no malfunctions. their guns certainly dont suck. As for supporting china....i bet 90% of your possessions have 'made in china' stamped somewhere on them
@amasoak479 жыл бұрын
"I'm all for more shooters but Norinco sucks"???, I'm sure the majority of Canadian gun owners disagree with you, even gun loving americans agree.
@geemeff9 жыл бұрын
but the problem is that Norinco is a Chinese Gov't owned company that makes everything from air rifles to nuclear missiles, why on earth support that when ya can buy good old made right here in Canada.
