The badge on the head tube is perforated doubling as a ventilation port for the battery in the down tube. There’s a little more then glue holding it on

On my HC4 and HC5 it's just four small spots of glue, one in each corner, holding the badge on. Also, at my dealer there was a HC4 in the showroom with the badge sitting next to it on the floor. I had a look at it and same thing. Just glue. The shop mechanic said it's not unusual for them to fall off. And yes there are two rectangular vents behind the badge for airflow to the battery, but no additional attachment method for the badge other than a little glue. These were on 2023 models, so maybe Husqvarna made improvements later? Thanks!

For the money. It don’t get much better. Every manufacturer has its ups and downs even the $10-$15,000 bikes have issues. You made very good choice on those bikes. my Husqvarna rips and I’ve had zero issues with it over 2 years. Happy Trails

@Mtb9r Agree. All issues got resolved. Dealer support was critical. Very happy with my HC at this stage. Thanks!!

You can get some 3M 6mil clear 6" wide protector that you can put on the downtube to protect it and the decals a bit pretty cheap (under $13) that many folks put on their mountain bikes to protect that front DT from rocks and stuff.

Thanks for the review. I also ride a lot of dirt bikes and was considering having a crack at an E-MTB. Any advice/tips you can offer? I have subscribed to your channel an will also look at your previous videos in the near future when I have more time.

@dirtbike_viking thank you! We just got back from a really great ride over in Bend Oregon. 17 miles of fun. Main thing, make sure you buy a name brand bike with a good reputation, and with good dealer support. Suspension setup has been my biggest challenge, but I think I have that figured out at this stage. The key is sticking to the recommended setting for you weight initially, and making very small changes from there. I will definitely be posting a lot more content, so stay tuned, and thanks again.

@RichardM479 Yes, that is correct. They typically are selling for around $4k USD pretty much any place in the US. I was quoting MSRP. I should have clarified... www.husqvarna-bicycles.com/en-us/models/offroad/hard-cross/hard-cross-hc4-2023.html

Hi, did you notice any motor rattling?

No. I had heard it was an issue with the Shimano EP8, but I have not experienced it.

throw a velcro strip on the charge port

Never leave seats in the compressed position when not riding. 99% of bike manufacturers supply bike with plastic pedals. Buy a small pair of magnets for the charging flap. 3M clear as someone suggested.
