I’ve been to Dominica. The locals were the friendliest people I’ve ever experienced. My family and I spent a lot of time talking to people on the street and supporting the local HS soccer team with equipment. We found out word spread and we had been nicknames. I walk with a cane. I was “man who walks with a stick”, my teenage daughter was called “princess” and my nephew, a stout football player was “the bull”. We all enjoyed the visit Immensely.

Always thought of Dominica as Dominique. Was there long time ago when we received a Dufour sailboat put the mast up and adjusted it. Then spend a couple of days training the crew that was to sail it to Venezuela. Those were the days of no satnav or gps. Only paper charts and good common sense. I Enjoy your videos very much. Stunning landscape, boiling lake clips and swimming through the narrows - definitely worth a 3 hour hike however has Daniela ever said to you "I remember saying that I would like to go on long sailing trips with you but I don't remember agreeing to any 3 hour hikes". LOL Pleased to hear that you had a satisfactory dentist visit. I appreciate the way you position your camera, then walking away from it, only to return off camera to pick up the camera - this adds to the quality of the video. Thanks for sharing.
