That case is a splice case for fiber optic cables. You’d be okay with moving it if you need to. Just don’t drop it or slam it against anything. Always enjoy your videos. You guys be safe out there.

That fiber optic case is completely passive, no AC or electricity involved whatsoever. Probably the safest thing in that room 😂😂

They are also installed on overhead fiberoptic lines in neighborhoods. I think they are splice/distribution boxes. There is one on the overhead line next to my garage. I watched them install my fiber last summer. The cable has two steel strands with the fiber cable sandwiched in between. The fiber strand is not physically strong enough by itself, so it needs stronger support.

Those ports you took the caps off of.....those are Peete's plug adapters for taking a pressure drop across the coaxial coil. On the leaving water side that brass component the braided hose connects to is call an Automatic balancing valve. It keeps the proper flow through the WSHP.

With the Pete's plug or also called "P/T plug" you can check temperature with the appropriate probe.

Ill add a correction. This isnt made by JCI. It is either water furnace or climate master. based off of the data tag it was manufactured in Fort Wayne,IN which is where water furnace is manufactured. so safe to say its water furnace. They are now normally all Climate Master. so this one must be an older model. I forget when it was changed to climate master as who was used.

Just fyi, Can't bleed air from the inlet before the strainer. All the air you wanna bleed is after the strainer in the heat exchanger. You let it all into the loop once you open both valves. But even in a medium water loop the loop or tower air vent(s) will get it. Doesn't cause any problems unless it's a small loop and it trips a flow switch or low water cut off. Don't even need to bleed it majority of the time.

Mini blade fuses are common in HVAC equipment, they are also used in cars. Jumperman, Please buy a regular style fixed wrench for that common size instead of the adjustable one. Who changed the air filter and put a 2 inch in there? Did you go back? That black fiber optics thing is just plastic, there's nothing electrical in there, it's a fiber optic splice block.

Looked like mainly that high pressure switch wire disconnected or fell off. Maybe there is no low pressure switch? Some hotels in my city use handyman that claim they are building operators and will hack until they don't know how to fix then call in you. They claim to be saving the site money, or the building think the fellow is saving them money. Usually leads to crash maintenance which is more expensive.

I'm willing to bet that transformer isn't big enough va wise or it is not wired properly 208 vs 240 as23.5 volts is very low . I've seen it in the past where the equipment acts hinky with just under 24 volts as opposed to the 26-28 volts that is usual
