The holes near the pivot on wire strippers is used to cut down the screws for your fixtures. There is a threaded side and non threaded side of the same hole. Screw the screw in from the threaded side and into the non threaded hole to your desired length and then squeeze. The end will shear off, then unthread the screw and it will clean the threads as you remove it.

I believe the cutter being labelled m4 indicates that it is used for cutting m4 bolts and is not just another wire cutter. you will probably find that the hole in that cutter is threaded. This would allow you to make the cut with little deformation to those threads.

I'm just about at the point where I'm going to give up on multitools. They just seem to promise what they don't deliver. I currently have a flexhead bit ratchet with extension with a knipex cobra, Leatherman piranha and bitkit. I find individual tools work way better. There are still some new options I'm looking at like the Leatherman k2 and the Toler Union but for the most part I'm over multitools.

@@paragonknight3307 I believe it is a typographical error. If a word seems nonsensical and out of place, it is helpful to consider the context in which it is used. Are is very similar in spelling to Ate and would be what one is expecting. The individual keys for A and T on a qwerty style keyboard are adjacent and not uncommon when typed on a phone screen. This can be a stumbling block when learning English, but you will find yourself less confused as your reading comprehension improves.

These things have only three reviews, all are 5 stars and bragging about how reliable and durable the believe they are. These are cheap wire strippers. I have no faith that they are worth the $6. You can buy 2 for $15 on the same listing because these aren't marketed to savvy buyers. There is no listed manufacturer for any of these. I would avoid.

I would like to have something like the Leatherman Squirt E4/ES4, but 150€ for a used one is simply too much. XD

Multitools are horrific hand and finger pinchers. EDC people always overlook how practical overalls are if you're going to be packing all that shit everyday
