Onward with the long arm and 3 link install on the Stepchild! So we've decided that for our Jeep Wrangler JLU Rubicon, we want to do something interesting - running a hybrid suspension setup, combining both Rock Krawler and MetalCloak components. But the big question is, will it work?

Merry Christmas you 2, 4 days late but finally got time to get caught up and as usual no disappointment in your video. Jelly dam near blends in with the snow and it’s so funny how dogs just love the snow! Rock Crawler is lucky to have Diesel as he’s very thorough in his work. Good thing you had to take the skid off and found that crack in the cross member weld. Another great video and can’t wait for more!

Actually, with longer arms, you can actually get more travel out of your shocks, all depends on where on the arm you mount them. I'm guessing you will have coil springs in the rear ?

I can't believe you go all the way to New York for a suspension change when you have one of the best suspension shops right here in Denver. Check out Rock Rash Engineering. They build most of the buggies in Colorado. They apply what they learn on buggies to your Jeep.

The MetalCloak 6Pak shocks come with 15" or 13" travel, all 15" on the JL. Compressed height is around 13"-28" extended. The Rock Krawler JL long arm kit specs shocks 18"-20" compressed and 30"-32" extended. How are you reconciling this? The low compressed height of the MetalCloak 6Pak would seem to a problem in achieving their 15" travel, which the long arm can probably handle.
