Sad, very sad, the neighborhoods today. I'm 74 and as a child spent many times in north St.Louis, all my mom's relatives lived there. Homes were modest, times were great, walk anywhere. Summer nights we sat on front porch and the cart merchant would walk by selling hot food. Wonderful times, i guess gone but not forgotten!

MY DAD HAD PROPERT AT 1406 NEWHOUSE THE TENNANTS were out to DESTROY ANYTHING OR ALL , it got so dangerous the CITY INSPECTORS WOULD NOT GO into the NEIGHBORHOOD after 11:00 a.m.

It very good to have grown up there and now it's not that way and has not been a good place to have a family of white people had to just walk away from the old houses to the hood and no one cares
