So I don’t even have a Deere, I have Kubota L2501, but I loved this video and love the idea. I wouldn’t cry if I gained another 30% of lift capacity. Excellent work Sir and best of luck with your endeavors.
@HydrosPlus2 жыл бұрын
I've thought about this, but since you'd also be losing about ~30% in speed, I don't feel good about the overall operator experience without a flow solution available. Some people may decide to add the HydrosPlus cylinders without adding the flow solution, but they will at least have the option if the experience is intolerable :)

I plan to get the performance kit for the JD 1025R. I like the large diameter boom arm hydraulics and would love to have that increased capacity. Frustrating to not be able to use multi-function operations on the bucket and boom when that is what I am used to for decades. Love my 1025R but have need for more capacity in both multi-function and lift. Not a full time user for increased capacity or I would buy a larger tractor for my ranch. Thanks and look forward to replacing the boom hydraulics or lift arms whatever JD calls them.

Love your content. You are doing cutting edge work making these small tractors really useful. If I may be so bold, you might consider scripting your videos a bit more. It tends to keep them concise and increase traffic /subscribers. But, by all means keep the content coming!
@HydrosPlus2 жыл бұрын
Agree that scripting would be better, but that would require work :) Thanks for the feedback. I've also decided that if I'm going to make more videos, I probably need some better cameras and a few more. At face value, it seems like it would be fun to make videos, but it turns out that it's by far my least favorite part of HydrosPlus.

Nice, how would a stock 2025r 2500 psi prv with these cylinders be close to this
@HydrosPlus2 жыл бұрын
2025R 2nd gen uses the same loader, so the performance should basically be identical. There could be some small variation due to slightly taller tires, but should be minimal if any.

You may have already touched on this but I’m interested in upgrading the hydraulics on my Kioti CS2520 is this something you make get involved with in the future or am I just S.O.L. ?
@HydrosPlus2 жыл бұрын
Sorry, but there are no plans to support Kioti in the near future, but always open to the possibility. The challenge with other brands is that they typically change designs more often, which means that if we develop a solution for a given model, it has a limited market. For other models we have looked at, even in the JD brand, we would likely never break even.

Any concern with front axle when running at 2500 or 3000 psi?
@HydrosPlus2 жыл бұрын
Personally, I don't have any concerns with the front axle at those pressures, but running higher pressures can make some things work a little funny. For example, if you want to run a rear tilt cylinder, and you want the adjustment to be slow, so you use a restrictor fitting. When you have the pressure set high, it will pull the engine down when you use it. Nothing really hurt, just a little extra heat created momentarily, but I prefer to keep the pressure down at about 2500 psi for my use. That's why I wanted to develop these cylinders, because I'm ok lifting more, but I want to do it at lower pressures.
@barryjones93452 жыл бұрын
Thanks. I wasn't sure if the front axle and tires could handle the extra weight with increased lift capability due to the increased pressure and cylinder size. 1800+ lbs is a significant increase over stock. Great to see little Johnny getting muscled up. Thanks for informative videos.

Would these modifications effect the factory warranty? How much do these cylinders slow the function down when using the factory pump?
@HydrosPlus2 жыл бұрын
If you have a warranty claim that can be attributed to lifting with the loader, then it could affect your warranty. This is the same for any modification, whether it be loaded tires or wheel spacers So, if your loader latch breaks, this could be pointed to as a problem and JD may not cover it. If your PTO goes out, then it's unrelated and they can't deny your warranty on that claim.
@HydrosPlus2 жыл бұрын
Sorry, forgot the second question. Using the factory pump, these cylinders will be ~38% slower. They will work, but given how slow it already is, it will be a pretty poor experience and you'll lose any ability to do 2 functions at once since the boom cylinders will require more fluid just to move.
@landonfilms86602 жыл бұрын

@@HydrosPlus they looked at me the exact same diameter in length and hookups even though it's newer loader models you're putting them on they look like they use the same cylinders from the previous generation?
@HydrosPlus2 жыл бұрын
@@daviddaniels4358 They are probably not exact, but they might work. One challenge you will have on the 419 cylinders is that they get their grease from a zerk in the cylinder. On these, the grease comes through the pin, so at a minimum, you'll have to create a way to grease the pins (this is based on what I can see on the parts schematic) John Deere does a good job reusing parts if possible, since it's cheaper, so there are most likely other differences in mounting and stroke. That said, it's possible that they can work, you may just lose some range of motion...or you could gain some :) If you want to send me an email at kevin@hydrosplus.com, I can talk you through measuring yours to see how close they are.
